Always enjoyed his performances, even if the films he was appearing in were crap. Was annoyed at the stupid fanboys anger regarding his Kingpin casting. Given the right director/plot he could've done real justice to the character.

He was brilliant in The Green Mile. What a shame.

Sad to hear he died in his mid-50s. Was strange to see him on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson when he filmed for a week in Scotland in May this year. 3 months later and this news.

Will always remember his 'leaving on a jet plane' scene from Armageddon, but obviously 'The Green Mile' is where he is at him absolute best. You wouldn't think by looking at him he could do what he did in that film.

Will be missed.
