Just heard this on Sunday Brunch.

New single release from the latest Simple Minds album: Direction of the Heart. I was never a fan but this sounds like a hit to me.

I've definitely heard tracks I like but, I'm still yet to find my real 'in' with King Giz - part of the problem is absolutely the sheer volume of output, and while I don't think this is the one, the video is great

Hadn't seen this live recording and it's a total belter. The album 'Ultrapop' definitely comes recommended - this is a great demo of exactly what it's like - noisy, dense, thick and abrasive, but also totally full of hooks and catchy as hell. 3 minutes of pure energy.

Float by Janelle Monae; liking this a lot after hearing part of it on C4 Sunday Brunch yesterday:-

just recently found these guys, even though they have been going for quite some time.
                      Some really good tunes.

                      recent cover.

Ghost are great and well worth catching live. The videos for He Is and Cirice are really good. The whole Papa backstory thing just adds a bit of theatre to proceedings which makes a change.

Imperial Triumphant cover of Paranoid Android? Yeah, go on.

Heard Daniel on the radio the other day so have been rocking out to early 70s Elton John. Damn some of those albums were sick

Reminded by the amusing new ad for some ghastly sounding milk product (YAZOO ) I've revisited my love for TLC's two best songs: No Scrubs and Creep.

                                Devil's Witches.

Basically a sleazy kind of down-tuned psychedelic Sabbathy rock, but also inspired by giallo horror, Satanism and 1970s porn, some of it quite mellow like this:
