Bought Muses The 2nd Law album the other day. Can't remember if this was the one that leaked and we all slagged it off for being too 'dubstep'.

Anyway, I actually have really enjoyed what I've heard so far.

First couple of tracks are really solid!

'Survival' and ' Follow Me' (which has kind of an 80's vibe) are two others that are growing on me.

Last two tracks on the album though are an absolute disaster. Had to stop listening half way through.

Agreed, bar the tail I do love a bit of 2nd Law in the car, Follow Me is easily my fave of the album.

                ^

Excellent, MUST be a bit better as music is starting to sound beautiful again.

This always gives me the shivers (when I ain't down), just a perfect piece of proggy synthy mood music from an old, cheapo Italian Alien rip-off. This is just WAY too classy for the movie, and was also reused in a ****ty Italian rip-off of Dawn Of The Dead. Anyway, it's a f*cking beautiful piece of music:

Just got a long yearning to listen to this after a very long hiatus, loved this album for over 17 years, it always kicks arse and sounds pretty damn 'edgy' these days, this is what East Coast hip hop used to sound like in 1995, though might be an acquired taste to some:
