Today I'm finally listening to the Wu-Tang 8 Diagrams album. Yeah, it's okay. So far nothing fantastic but I'm enjoying it enough to keep it on and it may well grow on me. Something's not right on it - I think they've long lost that group feel.

apart from 'wolves' which has a bad sample as a hook sortof, its just lost the wu sound, it seems RZA isn't trying or something

we need some wu piano in there like old times, christ I hope the new pretty tone album is good

I'm listening to Radio 1's Live Lounge Volume 2 double CD.

Some cracking tracks on there,

Rihanna's Umbrella by Biffy Clyro is really impressive.

30 Seconds To Mars take on Stronger by Kanye West is amazing.

Or how about Avril Lavigne doing a cover of Coldplays The Scientist or Natasha Beingfield's version of Chasing Cars.

Paolo Nutini doing Rehab & Artic Monkeys You Know Im No Good (Originally done by Amy Winehouse).

So much more to this album too. Yeah, im loving it. ^_^

Well it's already growing on me much more since I posted that earlier. I definitely think it's better than the last one (even though I think a track on The W has one of my favourite Ghostface bits ever and I have to admit I did love the catchy Gravel Pit).

Wow, the bracketed bit was longer than the actual sentence.

My CD player fixed itself so i'm listening to Sonic Youth - Blow Job. Picked it up randomly today, its a bootleg (official I think) with lots of demos from the Goo sessions.

Currently listening to Unkle's War Stories which I think I said I thought was awful a good while back in this thread. Well, since then it has really grown on me and I actually really like it. Weird how that happens.

Yes, looking back, I said it was "completely pants".

Goldfrapp - Supernature and The Fiery Furnaces - Gallowsbird's Bark are all I've had on today. Looking forward to Goldfrapp's new album if it really is a return to the early stuff.
