More Lil Wayne today. Preparing for tonight where a friend and I plan on doing an a cappella version of "Yes" by Weezy and Pharrell on the freestyle mode in Lips.

Speaking of Big Pun - watched that film about him the other day. I tell thee what, for a fat lad he had some lightning fast pistol whipping skills when he whooped his missus upside the head with his gat.

Great tunes though. "The Dream Shatterer" still gives me the goosebumps.

Now the sun is breaking, I'm listening to the new Royksopp album Junior. Early listens are that it might be a bit of electro pop heaven.

Bob Dylan's latest album, Together Through Life and 21 Guns (single) by Green Day.

Green Day's newest album will be immense; five more days to go!

Went out last night with a mate I'd not seen for a while and we were up most of the night listening to music.

I'd not listened to them for ages but we spent ages listening to The Clash! Fantastic band and I've had them on since I got home this morning.

It is astonishing. Like a gang bang involving the Cure, MBV, Interpol, BRMC, OMD, Sonic Youth, and god knows who else. Album of the year so far. Who would have thunk it?

Listening to Eminem - Relapse, today. So far so ok. Dre needs to stop wasting his time with dude and finish his own album though!

Which film was that? My mate bought a couple many years back, one with Pun, and one with Fat Joe... he said both were crap so I never asked to watch them.

Big Pun: Still Not A Player. It is a docu film and can be had for 23p on amazon at the moment! Shows nasty cctv footage of the big fella pistol whipping his wife in the face.

Pretty sure that's the same one. I think my mate paid £1.99 back in the day. Sounds like Oscar winning stuff.

Funny enough, I walked out of home this morning on my half hour walk to work, switched off the Listen Up podcast as it was boring and thought:

"The sun is shining, it's a beautiful day, what great music shall I listen to?"

And for the first time in ages, on went London Calling. Still possibly my favourite album of all time .

                        My generation is zero,
I never made it as a working class hero,

                        21st Century Breakdown.

I think it is more of a grower than their last album, American Idiot.

I'm not too sure it has the same immediate appeal however, it's a little different from what they have done before as there is a wider spectrum of influences to be heard on the album, which is a welcome change.
