I lent the 19 year old barman in my local some hip hop the other day to show him where it is really at. Started him out with some Lyricist Lounge and Black Star and will be weaning him on to Co Flow and some sick-ass Kool Keith stuff soon. Mwahahahaha.

I used to be huge Kool Keith fan, but the guy just drops so much **** it's impossible to keep up with his alter egos and not get bored to tears.

Kayne's latest any album much cop? Can't really say I've been too impressed with his stuff of late. I really don't care if he bought his mom a Loius Voitton purse or not.

Good to see Talib Kweli and indeed Black Star being mentioned in here.

As for Kanye, 'College Dropout' was a very good album, 'Late Registration' isn't even worth using as a placemat. He may redeem himself with album no.3but at the moment, I'm skeptical.

Got a bit behind on my Hip-Hop buying, how were the Pharoahe Monch and Jazzy Jeff albums released recently?

I didn't really rate the new Pharoahe Monch album. Some of the tracks seemed really "poppy"!? His version of Welcome to the Terrordome was alright (dodgy territory trying to cover PE though! )
