I was watching my DVDs of Lost yesterday, and there was a song that they played over the end scene on a couple of episodes that really caught my ear. So, I went online and did a little bit of searching and found out that the song was called "Delicate," and it was by a guy called Damien Rice. Hoping I could get it off iTunes, I did a search for it there and saw that it was there, along with several other songs. When I went to sample a song called "The Blower's Daughter" I immediately thought of the film Closer, as that song was used quite powerfully in it. So, I downloaded both songs, plus a song called "Cannonball," and I think I've listened to all three of them over a dozen times since then. "The Blower's Daughter" is just achingly beautiful, and it almost makes me cry when I hear it. Just a damn great song, as are the others. I'll have to look into more of his music later down the road.

Listened to You could have it so much better with Franz Ferdinand today at work, better than their first album but less "single" material on first listen. Great opening track and their slower acoustic based tracks are great.

Bloc Party - Silent Alarm Remixed ... not sure if its an improvement on the original, needs much more airtime
