Listening to a bit of Imperial Teen today. Their first album is a lost classic that fans of Pavement etc should grab. And it has a dolphin on the front and him off of Faith No More is in it.

I've just checked out some of the latest rock/alternative via a Euro sampler...

Queens of the stone age latest single is ok but a bit meh.

Stereophonics latest single sounds like they are trying to be Oasis.

Smashing Pumpkins "Tarantula" is nowhere near as good as I expected it to be.

Ryan Adams "Two" (feat Sheryl Crow) is the best of the bunch in my opinion, back to his more soulful acoustic best, short track but a good one.

Velvet Revolver's new single is okay too but again nothing mould breaking.

Royksopp - The Understanding. Slightly over produced, but good for while I'm working.

Genso Suikoden Piano Collection Vol.1 - Rare that I buy any video game music, but I do sometimes like these piano collections. This is better than any of the Final Fantasy p.collections if you ask me, although X-2 was top notch.

Had Starsailor - Love is Here on earlier. Another guilty plesure if you like. Their an easy group to take the piss out of, and the vocalist does half talk crap, not to mention their stuff gets a little repetitive - bit of a Travis really - but it is a decent album. Shame there's only the shorter version of Alcoholic on here.
