So, Warners is settled into its Lego plans now and before a sequel hits they're doing this Ninjago based spin-off.

There are obviously a ton of straight to DVD Lego movies and specials already, probably including Ninjago ones. They hit upon something really great with the Lego Movie and I have no doubt the sequel will pull in the numbers. I'll go and see it. But I could see them running it into the ground by trying to push specific lines and oversaturating things if they aren't careful. I think they'd almost be better off keeping that sort of stuff in the straight to DVD category and keep their Lego Movies special.

Of course I could be doing them a great disservice and they may end up pulling off a Lego equivalent of the Marvel universe so who knows...
