Apparently Ryan Gosling, Will Smith, Tom Hardy and Margot Robbie are all being sought to join this. Not sure I buy it given the commitment they'd need to make to sequels (which Smith in particular rarely does) and the costs required. Not a Gosling fan so hoping this doesn't pan out.
They did however confirm it will make it out in 2016. Potentially, this could be the third DC universe film -
I don't know if there's any truth to this but apparently the role WB wanted Gosling for was The Joker. Leaving that one well alone
Either way, if the rumour is true then Gosling has once again dropped out of a comic related film due to once again not wanting to sign a multi-picture deal. WB is said to be targeting on Jared Leto for the role now.

Not a fan of either but Leto>Gosling acting wise.
Interesting they'll introduce Joker (probably a cameo role as dont see Joker working as part of a govt team, more likely to feature Harley Quinn) in a later Suicide Squad movie rather than BvS. I'm sure he'll be implied to exist at the very least by Alfred, Gordon or Wayne in that movie though.Comment

John McClane junior himself Jai Courtney is said to be in talks to to play the role of Deadshot. Not a fan of the actor at all so hopefully his existing contract to film Terminator 6 and 7 back to back gets in the way.Comment

So, though not official, IMDB is listing them and...
Filming apparently starts in April with the director as David Ayer, helmer of Fury, End of Watch and Street Kings. The latest rumour is that actress Viola Davis is close to signing a multi-film deal to take on the role of Amanda Waller. With the cast looking more and more likely it seems the final casting will be:
