So, I avoided making a thread on this one despite it being on track for a long while. Basically, it's a franchise no-one asked to come back and it seemed to be doing so purely based on the F&F franchises success. With Vin Diesels solo films doing so poorly I figured interest would be low.
It's turning into an odd one though, the film is set for release next year and will see Vin Diesel return to the role of Xander Cage who has faked his own death.
It's also set to now star Jet Li as the villain with Samuel L Jackson returning as Cage's handler again, as well as Tony Jaa in another role.
The latest update is that it looks like the film lives up to its title by also following up the Diesel-less second film in also starring Ice Cube as Darius Stone who will be supporting the Cage lead.
