Big bonanza second weekend for Spider-Man: Far From Home which rose all the way up to a worldwide total of $847m. It's closing in fast on its predecessor.
Whilst Toy Story 4 maintained its runner up position and now stands on $770m worldwide
Annabelle Comes Home enjoyed a steady rise also, now up to $173m worldwide though it still has a fair way to go to beat any other CCU entry
Aladdin is now on $960m worldwide, closing in on that $1bn club title which seems to be about a fortnight away
Avengers: Endgame is now on $2,780.8bn worldwide - now a mere $7.1m from defeating Avatar
This week the biggest impact on the charts will be the release of The Lion King which is expected to have a reasonable landing

Well you can’t say they didn’t work for it but, apparently, Endgame has done it and managed to beat Avatar. https://variety.com/2019/film/news/a...rV5da6qPzpiNHY

Defying weak reviews, The Lion King opened to a record domestic opening and a global haul of $531m
Stablemate Aladdin powers on too, now reaching $988m worldwide
Now the most successful entry into the franchise ever, Spider-Man: Far From Home is on $970m but reportedly international figures from this weekend are slow coming in so this is expected to revise upwards.
Unfazed by the King, Toy Story 4 continued to power onward and is now on $859m worldwide. This post so far showcasing the sheer dominance Disney has at the box office.
Danny Boyle's Yesterday is now on $98m worldwide and has largely come to a halt so will stop just past the $100m marker.
Annabelle Comes Home is now on $196m worldwide.
Not often there's a ten years later update but Disney was keen to provide one for Avatar that shows its global haul is now on $2,789.7bn worldwide as it now stands as the second highest grossing film ever.
And then, the new king and the one likely to remain that for the longterm foreseeable future. Avengers: Endgame's new tally is $2,790.2bn making the new question whether it can breach $2.8bn
This weeks release is Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

The Lion King held onto its throne and in its second weekend is already on a massive $962m worldwide. The bad news? The figure is actually lower than expected because ticket sales didn't hold up as much as expected in the second week frame. In any case it's a clear win for the studio again even if the legs fall out fast on the way to $1.5bn
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood opened to $40m which is Tarantino's biggest opening ever, coming from solely the US release.
Now slowing down, Spider-Man: Far From Home none the less performed well in its fourth week and entered the $1bn club for the first time in franchise history, now sitting on $1,036bn
Toy Story 4 is proving to be a proven winner also as part of Disney's dominance. The sequel is now on $917m worldwide and climbing, $150m behind the third and most successful entry.
Hitting its final weeks of release, Aladdin finally broke the $1bn mark also coming in at $1,009bn
Finally, Avengers: Endgame continues its move upwards sliding slowly up to $2,793bn
This week see's the opening of Fast and Furious: Hobbs and Shaw
