We have the long gestating Star Trek XIV in the works and also apparently a Star Trek: Picard movie but now it appears a third movie has also entered development. Toby Haynes - who directed the USS Callister episode of Black Mirror as well as some episodes of Star Wars: Andor - has been hired to helm a spin-off movie currently referred to as Star Trek: Origins
The film is said to take place in the largely undocumented Late 22nd/Early 23rd Century and so precursors events of both Star Trek timelines.

I said, right back in 2009, when it was clear this was creating a branch timeline, that the final movie of this run would do something to wind up that timeline and bring it back into the prime timeline for the show. I'm still convinced this is gonna do that.

I haven't seen Season 04 still yet but I'll throw the controvery grenade into the room - In opposition to the article, I felt like Discovery lost a lot of momentum and identity with the shift into the future and would have been better off without it.
