So, Emma Stone will be playing Estella, the character who transforms into Cruella as part of an epic piece of miscasting meaning Disney is still on the hunt for someone to play the films main villainess. The film is a prequel and will be set in London during the 1970's. Emma Thompson, Demi Moore, Nicole Kidman, Julianne Moore and Charlize Theron are said to be under consideration.

Dumbo looks to have received a kicking in reviews which will make its box office interesting to see, might help give Shazam a leg up

Took the kids to see Dumbo today. Surprisingly good ... definitely the best thing Tim Burton has made for a while. The original story is expanded upon nicely and the film has lashings of lovely vintage circus imagery and an impressive retro-futuristic location too.

Simba being blamed by Scar for the death of Mufasa and scared away from the Pride lands



Impressive benchmark in CG but utterly void of character and emotion



Much simpler due to handdrawn animation but reeks of character and emotional response
