Last night's double bill started with Ant-Man and The Wasp. We enjoyed the first and this was a worthy sequel imo. Light-hearted like the original, keeping that easy going vibe that's very easy to enjoy.
Then the late film was Climax. I've been wanting to see this for a while, and after missing it at our local arts cinema I set my sights on the Arrow blu-ray release. It was everything I expected and also not exactly what I was expecting. Basic premise is a dance troupe are on the cusp of embarking on a tour, and after rehearsal they celebrate with a party, but someone spiked the sangria and things get dark. Like a scary theme-park ride, this lets you experience something terrifying from a seat of safely. Wow.
