It's easy to be put off when something is overly popular with posters on every wall and stuff, but Trainspotting was genuinely something great and refreshing. Empire captured the moment with their headline 'Hollywood come in, your time is up'. I watched all the extras on the blu-ray a few years back and the best titbit was from Robert Carlyle whose Begbie wardrobe was presented to him as tatty scruffs and he said 'nah, psychos wear labels, dress sharp' ... he gave Begbie's look authenticity.

From that list it’s Baz Lurhman’s take on Romeo & Juliet. Tremendous take on the classic we all probably read or performed at school and hated as a result.

It's not high art but my love for The Rock knows no bounds
