Netflix Sets "Gears of War" Film & Series - Dark Horizons
Netflix has announced that they will be making a live action Gears of War movie which will be accompanied by an adults targeted animated series. The film will adapt portions of the games storyline with the intention of making subsequent entries down the line.


Yeah... GEARS OF WAR... because the name Gears sucks.

This has the potential to be really poor. I'm picturing starship troopers sequels. I mean their adaptation of Cowboy Bebop was a pile of arse.

I have zero faith.
Doing a Halo style series in live action might have worked but condensing Gears of Wars brodude narrative into film length reeks of direct to DVD material.
