    The Legend of Zelda

Nintendo is working on a live-action The Legend of Zelda movie | Eurogamer.net
Miyamoto confirms the project which for me feels like from the very first step it's taking the wrong road. The world desperately doesn't need yet another live action fantasy film and Mario was a clear shot of how Nintendo franchises should be adapted.

Miyamoto says they've been working on the film for many years already and that it will continue on the long road until it's ready. Miyamoto will be a Producer on the film with Sony acting as the company bringing it to the big screen.

The director as been set as Wes Ball, director of the Maze Runner trilogy and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.

Who wants to bet that Link is both wise cracking and Tom Holland is at least approached for the role?

I would watch the hell out of this if they go back in time and make it in the ‘90s in the style of Xena.

It should be a trilogy, taking place over a vast span of time, providing ample means for multiple Links. NOT multiverse! Please.
