Paradise Kiss, last ep12 they did a Beck on us which isn?t surprising, but at least it wasn?t as bad as Beck?s ending even with the final bit at the end showing the future which was a bit of downer. I assume the manga?s still going strong?

Anyone downloaded the Honey?n?Clover special ep? C1 have subbed and I?m tempted to download it but I reckon it going to be recap show?

Kagihime is awful, terrible art and horrible animation, with characters with every clich? going that I just want to see die from the start. Unlocking stories bit with the huge Key weapons is just embarrassing to watch.

The manga ends almost just like the anime. In fact, they crammed most of the last volume of manga (5) into episode 12. Manga spoiler:

They really, really should have shown that Yukari's fianc?e was Hiro. Makes a whole world of difference.

The Chapter L episode of Honey & Clover is a side story, doesn't impact the main plot at all. It's pretty funny and definitely worth watching since you've seen the series. There's plenty more Morita antics in there for good measure.

That's pretty stupid not showing that at the end then, as i don't mind him.

Morita is the man! gotta download the ep when i get back home.

I'd agree with that. Definitely the worst of the new shows I've seen. The bit where the stories are unlocked was cringeworthy, it was basically hentai **** going on. I'll give it another couple of episodes to see if it improves. Can't say I'd recommned the show at this point.

I also saw Hanbun No Tsuki Ga Noboru Sora and Magikano, both of which I thought were pretty good. Hanbun is set in a hospital with the main guy suffering from Hepatitis, he meets a girl in the ward. From the first episode there looks like there will be a decent mix of drama and comedy. I really enjoyed it and it's only six episodes long apparently. I'll definitely be following this show. I'd recommend giving this one a go. Been subbed by AnimeU

Magikano is really over the top and I thought it was really funny. Quite heavy use of SD characters in the first episode. Personally I loved the scenes where the main guy took credit for beating up those guys and the bit where he woke up to see the eel(you'll probably understand when you see it). The story is pretty bad but the humour and stuff makes up for it IMO. Don't think it will be to everyone's liking but I'd definitely recommend giving it a go. Again subbed by AnimeU.

I still have to watch Ayakashi and Kasimasi Girl Meets Girl from the new shows that have been subbed. I'd like to see Yomigaeru Sora, Kage Kara Mamoru, Nerima Daikon Brothers(supposed to be quite funny), Lemon Angel Project and Tactical Roar subbed. There's still one or two other shows that still haven't aired yet which look pretty decent such as REC, Ergo Proxy and Shinigami No Ballad.

Was it just me or did the raw AnimeU used for Hanbun a little rough around the edges? I was watching it on my TV via XBMC and everything looked somewhat out of focus permanently. Colours were bleeding into each other all over the place. Decent series though, will definitely follow it through, especially if it's only 6 episodes as you say.

I really enjoyed Magikano, it felt a little more adult oriented than series of a similar nature in the past (Maburaho and Negima spring to mind). Can't wait for episode 2 where there's a cosplay contest it would seem.

I was going to avoid Magikano, the preview i download looked awful, will give a try now.

Also i thought Girl Meets Girl is Kagihime?

Well I'd definitely recommend giving Magikano a try for the first episode. Some decent laughs to be had IMO.

Also Kagihime is the one about unlocking large-breasted girls' stories(it remains to be seen if there'll be any male action) by basically shoving a key into their chests. Kasimasi Girl meets Girl from what I've heard is about a guy who gets turned into a girl by some aliens or something.

@Taka: Yeah I had one or two of the problems you mentioned, though I'm not sure if it is the fault of the raws for the show or their encoder

Nice story progession there for 10-11, and ep12 wow that is one hell of mothering fcking fight, they really blew a crap load of budget art and animation on Yuu/Isami fight as it was well worth it(in fact the entire episode anaimtion was above and beyond). I just knew Isami wasn't going to make it as soon as he back was turned and that git of whatever it is killed him and now Karasu is half dead and a few limbs short of full body. Lovely touch with Ai crying at the end.

Just caught up with Noein 12 -

Agreed on pretty much all points, the story has been progressing really nicely these past few episodes. The battle was spectacular very reminiscent of the stuff that was seen in the very first episode in terms of animation quality, the bit with present Ai and present Isami was nice as well. There was one thing puzzling me though, at the end of the fight when Isami is killed and you see the "blue snow" trail all the characters including some randoms see this. Yet when Isami(Fukurou) and Karasu are fighting on the crane which I presume is also fairly close to that area nobody notices a thing. At least there was no reactions from even the people in the background/the extras. It's even stranger because the fight has explosions and everything and very real damage to parts of the crane. I mean surely seeing explosions/clouds of smoke nearby would cause just as much of a reaction? Anyway it was a small thing.

Personally I want to know who that ****er is, that killed Fukurou. From what he said maybe he's some sort of dimension police or something as he seemed intent on making the stuff Haruka saw in her dream a reality like that weird old man said. The gold mask thing he has also points to him possibly being one of those Shangri-La. Or maybe I'm reading too much in to it. Also weird is that there was no preview at the end of the episode. Looking forward to watching episode 13 later on today.

Watch most of the new shows now

Hanbun/Hantsuki (whatever people want to call it) - really good as zapp says, best of the new stuff which includes FSN for me. Great characters, good art/animation and the story looks to be gripping with a mix of comedy/romance.

Magikano ep1 - didn't really like it that much, found most of the comedy unfunny, maybe School rumble, Ichigo Mashimaro and PPdash have spoiled me. I give it a couple more eps before i dump it.

Girl meets Girls - enjoyable, the reason for turning in to a girl and the setup is one of the most stupidest things ever, it almost pre-school story telling, still the parents of the boy/girl got few laughs out of me.

Blood+ ep14 - not much going on just some tieing up some loose ends back in japan before the next story arc. Love the new Opening credits, well the animation anyway very good looking, the music was bit sucky but im sure it'll grow on me.

Yukikaze ep5 the end - jesus thats a way to bow out, sadly i had forgotten some of the story elements as to why the JAM where doing what they we're doing, and why the EAF decided on that plan of action inthe end. Anyway it's result is a kickass dogfighting similar to Independence day mass brawls but x10 the number of Planes and Aliens all super animated with excellent sound, better than Macross Zero.

Honey'n'Clover special - great stuff, specially the theme park mascot that is some top, top stuff.

Ah My Goddess ep25/26 extra eps - enjoyable afters, should have been in the TV season as there better than most of the TV episodes,

                      Adult Skrud rocks

About Magikano, I'd agree that it's not as funny as those shows although Ichigo Mashimaro is debatable for me. I mean it's funny but not in the same league as SR or PPD IMO. Very little goes on in some of the episodes and they all usually lead to one big laugh, if you don't find that funny then the episode as a whole tends to be quite uninteresting and boring as I found with the most recent episode that I watched(I think it was episode 6). Also I think alot has to do with the fact that I think Miu's a bitch and most of the comedy centres around her. Personally having seen episode 2 I reckon you should drop the Magikano now. I don't see how episode 2 will get you hooked on it(though I'll be pleasantly surprised if it did) since the humour is very consistent with the first episode.

Girl Meets Girl - Agreed the episode was really enjoyable and I found the funniest scenes were the ones involving the guys parents. Really stupid parts to it though, such as the fact taht

they "killed" the guy and then brought him back to life as a girl. I mean surely these highly advanced aliens could get his gender right, after all they did the hard part of resurrectiing him. Not to mention the fact that they then broadcast to the whole world that he's now a girl. Childhood ruined right there.

There's still one or two more shows that have now been subbed. I still have to watch Ayakashi, Lemon Angel Project and Kage kara mamoru.

Miu?s ace, a total scheming Bitch and one of the many reason I think that shows ace.

Also I now sieen what is perhaps one of the BEST villains in anyshow ever. Victreem-Sama, shame he only lasts 2 episodes of Gash Bell(62/63) but his brand of insane showman ship, super strength and stupidity really did it for me, including his insane Melon songs, rhymes and pure classic engrish (?VERY ****?). Crazy crotch powerups, Captain Ginyu style Poses and Mechazowa?s(sp?) voice from Cromtie High rock!

Even if you don?t watch Gash Bell, download ep62/63 just for him, now really story spoilers in it just fighting and dancing!

I'm amazed you like Blood+. It just comes across as a poor version on Speed Grapher to me at times. I do wish Saya would shut the hell up and kill people at times, it seems to be dragging the thing out longer than it should. The chest burster things were very good, but then it throws it away with a stiled fight at the end of that ep with awkward looking animation. Just kill Saya off and let David kill everything. He's the only one I seem to care about at the moment. I can't stand Kai, he's just rolled off the anime male lead production line (despite not being the lead).

I will commend the Riku/bint part of the last arc mind. Thought that was handled well, and it was such a shame to see her with that oversized eye, and Riku being told she'll be fine. If only they could have more stuff like that. All this reminds me is that I need to find the Blood OVA out again.

Will also mention that Naruto manga looks like actually doing something. Taken far too long, but at least something is happening. Even if it seems a little contrived at times (even for Naruto). Still not a patch on Bleach, which keeps pulling those rabbits out of hats.

Return of blind bloke? I smell gigantic battle between him and fox dude. If that's what is happening, of course.

Blood+ isn?t brilliant but its high budget and generally good story have me coming back for more. I?ve kinder gone off Naruto and Bleach abit.

Naruto mainly cos the filler is crap and the scanlations are taking forever, I?m still in 290 and god knows where they are now and sasuke?s replacement is crap, and Bleach because it turned into who has the best Trump card power up, much like a ****fest WWE battle royal where the end sequence is everyone hitting there finishers, even though i like the story and a lot of the characters. It always ends up like that and you know instantly when some-ones way to weak, which has happened to the entire Human cast bar possibly Ishisda have become so worthless to the story, the current manga arc just shows how DragonBall it is(without the long pauses and dragged on fights).

For shounen is all about One Piece and it?s continuing ace march. (and Gantz)
