Mai-Otome ep21 ?

I need to watch it again to pickup on the little things that are so easily to miss, and im sure Mikoto was show in person waking up from behind near the start, im not sure who that women is in the bed but it could be Aoi, but then why would Chie be looking after her when they(I think) have no previous relationship? And Tomoe?s sick sex games with Shiz are certainly going end in tears?. I can?t remember then preview but I do hope it Mai

They have 5eps to wrap this up, I can?t see them doing it and giving us a decent ending, Hime?s Twist started at ep17/18 and had plenty of time to come to a conclusion.

If you go back to some of the previous episodes you'll notice that Aoi and Chie were best of friends, I think there was one episode where they had some contact with each other in trying to help Mashiro-chan get over her sadness at being a crap queen or something. IIRC Chie suggested that they let Arika talk to her which Aoi promptly allowed. This was just before the invasion of Garderobe by Nagi and his troops. And besides who else would Chie visit? I can't think of anyone she was really close to in this series at least. Aoi and Chie's relationship was the same in Mai Hime as well, they were best friends and pretty much always seen together in that series. Obviously it's not set in stone and we don't know who it is in the bed, but from all the relationships and stuff, Aoi would seem the most likely. I'm not sure Chie was looking after her either, probably just visiting her before she set off for her mission. The only other thing I can think of is it being one of Chie's parents. I don't recall whether she was picked up as an orphan like Nao, Nina and Arika so I might be totally wrong there too. The only problem with it being Aoi in bed is how they found her in the middle of the desert and if she could even survive that fall.

As for the end of the preview it definitely looks like Mai, especially from what we have seen of her in the OP and the shadow outline matches Mai's appearance similar to how that dark figure in the Harmonium matches Mikoto's appearance.

Black Cat 19 was pretty good - again great series

the battle between Train and Creed took place and Creed has been reverted back to a human by Dante and Orihalcon bullets with a little help from Eve

Apostles of the stars (except Creed and Echidna) still exsist as does Chronos - but it looks like the story might veer to Eve and her nano technology

Black Cat ep19,

i wasn't expect the Creed fight to start and end in half an ep, still a nice fight and I wasn't to sure of the finish, from what I could tell he shot the Orihalcon bullet into the Leaders sword shattering it into Creed arm?. Possibly. It?s looks like the numbers are going to be betrayed by there Master?s or just that old guy.

Shinigami no Ballard ep1 ? Not sure what to think of it as it was great, nor was it bad. Seems it?ll follow the lines of someone in a relationship dying and having their will past onto there friends/lover/family. Certainly no Bleach

Yakitate Japan ep55 ? Great episode Super K vs Freezer, in crazy bread reaction based on DBZ.

Black Cat ep19 -

Perhaps it was just me but I found the main fight in Black Cat to be quite confusing. I couldn't tell what was going on in some of the scenes. It seemed to be a case of making the action on the whole more stylish and in the end the fight came off worse, perhaps I'll have to rewatch it and this time try and concentrate on it a bit more. I think they would have been better just concentrating on making the animation better which for most of the main fights in the series has been quite lacking. That aside it was another good episode. It's going to end soon apparently and it definitely looks like they're going to have to deal with Chronos now that Creed is seemingly finished as the main villain.

Shinigami No Ballad ep1 - Personally I really liked it. Very nice first episode I thought which was quite touching in the end. It looks like there won't be any obvious links between the story episodes besides Momo and Daniel. The series is only 6 episodes long, so it looks like it might be 6 standalone episodes which I wouldn't mind to be honest.

Eureka Seven ep31 - Holy hell the outlook of the entire show just changed in one episode, now it's a war

It almost like Gunbuster's Space monsters and they'll kill anything!, and we also got given info about the planet. Have to say this is shaping up nicely for the last half of the show.

Eureka Seven ep31 - Holy hell the outlook of the entire show just changed in one episode, now it's a war

It almost like Gunbuster's Space monsters and they'll kill anything!, and we also got given info about the planet. Have to say this is shaping up nicely for the last half of the show.

Looks like things are kicking off again big time after a relatively calm couple of episodes. I for one am looking forward to it. IMO the show has already had some spectacular episodes especially at the start of this season and the end of the last one, so the guys behind the show know how to handle these sorts of scenes and hopefully they can get the animation back to the sort of levels it was at around ep26. From what i've been reading there's a couple of filler episodes coming in the mid 30's but then when we get to around the episode 40 mark it gets back on track and some of those episodes in the early 40s are supposed to be pretty special.

On the mention of Gunbuster, the next episode in Gunbuster 2 should be out on DVD on the 24th of March, so hopefully we'll see some subs soon after. It's already been shown on TV and the general reaction on animesuki at least is that it's better than episode 5. I didn't read much else as I didn't want to spoil it for myself.

nice, i loked that bit inthe mall lots of senseless killing of what i can only call 'stupid sheep', i really thought that Orange suited wimp was ready for the chop and they swerve us! Looks like that also made a character out of the Robot girl. Love this show.

Blood+ ep20 - thats a bit more like it,

if thats the shape of battles to come then if might be worth hanging around also we finally got some more of the main story out the way with at least some of the deal about Saya and Hagi. Also the start made me think 'James Bond' with the music and the walking around.

Bleach 68-69 AARRRAHAHHAhghghg all that filler for such a horrible ending! Must hurt makers of filler episodes.

Solty Rei 17-18

Wasn't expecting them to get wiped out like that, and it looks like the rest of the team won't last long eithe. Plus it seems Rose isn't brainwash so i can't figureout just what the mess is going with her (i can only suggest she doign some kind of giant swerve onthe RUC leader, gain his trust, find out his plans then hack him down....)

Mai Otome ep22 -

Looks like I was right about Chie visiting Aoi in hospital after all Good episode, mainly because there's less focus on Mashiro and Arika coming of age/learning the ways of the world/etc... and more on the action. Can't believe Cardair fell that quickly to Asward's attacks. Seems Midori killed of Cardair's Meister Otome. She said something interesting when she did it though, something like "if you want revenge wait for me in the World of the Stars" and then the Meister disappears in a sort of yellow light which looks very similar to the one use for all those character deaths in Mai Hime, which might mean she ain't dead yet.

Also Super Lesbo Gundam Tomoe and her pals kicked the **** out of Arika, complete with a transforming super attack, which isn't surprising considering she was outnumbered. But I loved it when Miyu came in and battered her. Would have preferred if Miyu had finished off Tomoe in this episode though. I hope Nina gets taken down as well as I just don't like her. She reminds me of Shiho(Mai Hime version) in that she is insanely jealous of Arika to the point of going mental and this causes a fair few problems, namely Ers-chan's "death" earlier.

Also the preview from the last episode was a bit misleading as Mai only appeared in the last couple of seconds of this episode. Seems like the next episode she's in it properly though as well as Mikoto. So that means pretty much everyone from Hime will have made an appearance except Tate although it's arguable that Sergay is Tate. Also from the preview it seems it's going to be a fanservicey hot springs episode. There'll probably be more to it than that I hope as otherwise it seems like a bit of a waste especially if the series is going to end at ep26 which they're already going to need to rush things as it is, just to tie things up.

Shakugan no Shana ep22 -

Slow moving episode and they didn't really explain the wound at all. Even though it looked like she'd been done for in the last episode. They acted as if it was just a minor scratch. It's building up to the conclusion though, should be a a couple of battles in the next episode.

Ergo Proxy ep2 -

That Mall scene was as Tobal said brutal. Eureka 7 episode 27-28 levels of goriness, probably even moreso. That guy in the jumpsuit though(Vincent Law was it?) seems to have some sort of connection to one of those things that attacked Lil/Ril/whatever her name is, as she picked up a pendant or something that was similar to the one he had on. Good episode overall but there was a noticeable drop in art quality and animation, particularly the mall scene. Lil's face seemed to change from scene to scene as well. I suppose they weren't going to be able to stick to the levels of the first episode. Just hope it doesn't drop further.

I like the sound of Gundam Tomoe I was hoping to she would get sliced in half by Miyu(love the computer option?s powerup screen) but I guess there saving her for Shiz showdown. Nina just annoying now and im hoping for a smackdown soon from anybody. Preview looks hmm.. a waste but Mai fan service hasn?t happened yet!!! I wouldn?t be surprised if they wipe out a happy ending like Hime, but then I wouldn?t mind if they did, its only show to finish on good high after all the characters get a beating.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. It does sort of seem like it and perhaps that's what that look is in his eyes as he turns around at the end of ep2. Perhaps he's going to transform or something, to take out the proxy that was chasing him. Or maybe it's just that he's accepted he can't run away and is prepared to die? The thing about the Vincent - Proxy connection is that it seems a bit too obvious. Maybe they're trying to throw us off the trail or maybe I'm just thinking about it too much

Gash Bell Movie 1: 101st Demon ? Wasn?t sure what I would be watching, I was fully expecting a crap load of spoiler but thankfully there was only 1 and that doesn?t give away the conclusion, but for anyone not up to where Umgeon finds his Book keeper, there?s crap load of spoilers. I think its set after the Lord arc which is still being subbed at the moe and nowhere near completion ;_;

Liked Gash returning home and Wiseman a pretty cool villain(not Victreem good though), crap loads of power and the will crush anyone for anything, shame about his turn at the end which made no sense, they should have left him uttering curses as he disappeared. Battle was the usual of Gash/co taking a nasty beating but getting up time after timer to slog it back, finishing with that cool multiple demon spell. Animation is better than Naruto Movie, maybe not as much Detail but then that?s always been a Gash thing. Music was disappointing, most of the music was new and not up the series standard theme?s.

its about about Eve now and Eden, looks like most of the chronos numbers have teamed up in an alliance with the remaining apostles of the stars

except a few including Sephiria and Belze and an appearance of a new Chronos number - 6, Anubis who actually saved chronos numbers 1 and 2

looks like 6 is a wolf - but who knows just might be a human who can transform - much like Eve (only in transforming ability and not nano tech)

but waiting to see who Adam is

it had the feeling of a filler episode, but it got quickly into the swing of things and i like watching animes that only last about 20 - 50 episodes as there isnt much filler and they just get on with the story - probably the reason why the longest running animes i've watched have been gundamn destiny and alchemist at about 55 episodes each and why i havent bothered with Naruto and Bleach - even though they are probably fantastic

Hantsuki ep4-5, loved both episodes with all characters putting developing well, heck i don't even hate that dickhead docter so much anymore,

Little bits like Akiko and Yuichi bonding bits inthe car, at his house and saving his save from the Big titted model(i was split here, 1 part of me was shouting you ****ing moron, the other Go get her son!!). the bit at the end of ep5 was great, really moving when Yuichi read the marked passaged

Angel Heart ep9-10

Nice finish to that story, pretty much finished everything off in 2 episodes so well, i can't think whats going to happen next. Ryo is the MAN!

Black Cat ep20

Good stuff, got straight back in to the next plot with little time wasted, hope to see a return of the Fire girl, Tall Hat guy soon, and i see that Wind user helping out to.

As for not watching long running shows you missing out on some great Anime moments specially from Naruto when it turns it up(even better if you haven't read the manga), the main story it quite filler free, and what manga filler there is usually goes towards developing a charatcer, just be sure to skip the Anime only filler arc as there all crap. Bleach it moves about as fast as most 26ep shows, very little time is wasted specially when they get into SS just ashame it went so fast it caught up with the manag in 60 odd eps
