    woo OVA 2 for "Today in Class 5-2" to bad the dammed torrent not above 10k/sec, gonna have to wait till tmorrow to watch it.

      edit: some good news which I think will please Tobal and any other Ichigo Mashimaro fans. An OVA has been announced for the show. I don't think there's an episode count yet so it could be a one shot special or maybe a series of them. I'm hoping for the latter, particularly if they are going to be of the same quality as some of my favourite episodes(the beach one and the festival one immediately spring to mind).

        Today in Class 5-2 ep2, more of the same, so plenty of fan service and predictable jokes but I don?t care I love it all the same even if you know what coming it still makes me laugh.

        The super ball bit, after they lift up the girls skirts and total miss because the boy we?re already looking up in the sky for the bounce, followed up by a kick to the knackers? ouch, next up was the near nudity stuff which you could see a mile off but I couldn?t help laughing my head off when the girls caught him. The Observation bit sleeping kid was good, specially the blowing air in his ear and biting him and blaming it on the other classmates. The tickle one was kinder cute and last had me as it was all dream.



        Strawberry Panic ep13 Noooooooooo Yaya,

        I think that kiss messed up that friendship although it looked like Hikari enjoyed it(didn?t push her away and was on her tip toes), will Hikari go for he roommate who?s always there for her or Amane the ?older sister? get it? come on Yaya!! Seems both main relationships are heading the same way depending on what Tamao does?

          Suzumiya Haruhi ep 14 -

          Lovely final episode to the series although due to the episode shuffling it's not really the final episode chronologically. Very satisfied with the way that episode went and the ending is a "life goes on" ending which works well IMO. Favourite bits for the episode - the bits with Mikuru discovering Kyon's badly named(and hidden) folder, the bit with them meeting up after the catastrophe and her reaction to what Haruhi would do if she caught them like that plus her reaction to Kyon knowing about the mole . Really liked the bit with Yuki as well, where she's talking to Kyon via the computer which I thought was sweet, particularly the line about going to the library again. Then there's of course her line about protecting Kyon. Liked Kyon's story of events leading up to him having Yuki in his arms in that classroom where Taniguchi stumbles in on them. The whole closed space scenario was good and for once I didn't mind the KyonXHaruhi bits particularly the final scene. Probably some other bits I'm forgetting, I recall Kyon did have some funny lines in this as well.

          . Great way to finish up IMO. No complaints from me, just sad to see it go. Brilliant series and probably the best new show from the last season, certainly one of my most favourite shows. Also helps that it was a real surprise as I knew next to nothing about it before April, it was one of those that I was going to check out for a few episodes to see how it went. Little did I know...

          Strawberry Panic ep 13 -

          Finally caught up with the show and it's been decent these past few episodes. I do wonder how many more times Hikari is going to fall for the kidnapping/raping thing. You'd think she might have learnt from the first time. Did feel sorry for Yaya though and I wonder how that kiss is going to go down. As Tobal said, it did seem like Hikari was enjoying it. After all she was on tip toes and not pulling away at all, then again she did have tears forming as well. The scene did last a while and you'd have thought if she hated it she would have pulled away immediately. I also hope they get back to Miator was it? so we can see the aftermath of that scene in ep12, between Nagisa and Shizuma.

            Next episode suppose to fill in some back story for Yaya, and has made some big people fans of her!! i'm thinking Yaya going to be pushed into the background based on people describing the new opening credits for ep14,

            3 cheer's for unrequited love...

            Also have any of you watched "Musashi -GunDou-" im tempted to find the sub's for it now, seems to have cult following because it's so,so bad.

              I've heard about it, the "so bad it's good" thing that was evident in Suzumiya Haruhi ep1. Some are even speculating it's been done on purpose like that episode of Haruhi Not actually gotten round to downloading it yet but I will check it out for sure. Trying to catch up some other shows first. Also quick note Honey and Clover season 2 episode 1 is out. Having read about some of the contents I'm not as excited as I would have been. I guess that'll come with the next episode though.

                Brilliant new episode of Haruhi.

                I am told there are other novels in the Haruhi series, 'The Melencholy of Haruhi Suzumiya' just being the first, wonder if we can expect to see these too.

                  Finally watched the "last" episode, you've prettymuch covered everything i enjoyed about the ep, but i think funniest line from Kyon had to go to one just before

                  he kissed Haruhi

                  "Ponytails really turn me on, the ponytail you had back whenever... looked so good it was criminal"

                  Fav moment for me was the picture files and nagato protect line.



                  lets hope it does get another series.

                    What I know is that there are 8 novels currently out and more still to come. I'm told that so far the anime has covered about a quarter of the novels. What they've done is cover the first novel and a few side stories and stuff from later novels. For example the movie in the first episode comes from volume 6.

                    At the moment there are two english translation projects that I know of. One is this which is a bunch of fans translating them in a coordinated effort, some of the translations are from the chinese editions which apparently have some mistakes in them.That wiki also has more info and stuff if you're interested. Then there's this one which is being undertaken by Strato, who is basically the main guy behind the subbing of the anime by a.f.k. He did the translation amongst other things.

                    I've yet to read them myself. I'm tempted but I'd rather watch it in it's entirety in animated form before having a look at the novels. If there's no anime continuation for a while though, then I may well go for it.

                      nice way to end haruhi, pretty much as expected, but it was done really well, so thats ok.
                      top series, i really hope we get to see some more soonish.

                      havent really been paying attention to any info about the new shows, so thanks for the rundown zappster, quite a few seem pretty interesting.
                      and the first episode of honey and clover II is around now too, should have time to watch it tonight as well.

                        Honey and Clover season 2 ep1 - Well I'm going to eat my words. Even though it was a recap of season 1 with one new scene

                        Takemoto getting his driving licence

                        , I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Brought back memories of some of the best moments in the first season(some of which I'd totally forgotten). Ep 2 should be new stuff all the way(I hope), which I'm looking forward to alot more now. The new op and ed, hmm at this point I don't think they're as good as the ones in the first season(talking about the songs). Waltz is still my favourite ED. Of the two new songs I prefer the ED on first listen at least. Perhaps after a few episodes I'll grow to like them more than the first season's stuff. The sequences/animations as well I think were better in the first season.

                          .Hack//Roots ep13. Top episode, we get a glimpse at some of the characters outside personalities and how there lead there lives, Tabbies being the most revealing.

                          Seems her reason for joining ?the world? was to make friends and not be alone, which she commented on the game ending up the same as her real life ?alone? which sad as she seems a cheerful person. Shino get data drained (Noooooooooooooo Shino) and put into a coma and thus we have the setup for Haseo in the .hack games, seems he?ll grow some balls to after kicking the crap out of the PKer?s. Hopefully we get to see him go mad and turn into that crazy beast thing in the ending credits.

                          Still waiting on what?s to happen to Ovan let alone who he is (some people reckon he?s Kite), why Shino know of Aura (from Ver.1 of The World). Wonder how many of these characters are players from ver.1???

                            Got that Limited Edition Naruto box set today. Well, they call it a box set... it has the first 13 episodes. They seem to be releasing a box set every 6 months. Japan is ar ep 190 as of this week.... long way to go =/

                            Anyway, suprisingly decent release. Viz have preserved the kana in the intro/outro, which only Funimation usually do. I am one who prefers honoifics in subtitles, so it irks me to read Hokage-sama as Lord Hokage... but apart from that, nothing to complain about.

                            The Limited Edition one comes with a Konoha headband and wrisband, and a complete storyboard of episode 8. The gold box it all comes in is disappointingly flimsy though.

                            Good release, even though they earlier eps are showing their age.

                              Just watched Gun-do Musashi, and all i have to say OMFG! i can not do it justice how messed up this show is, it's totally got to be done on purpose as theres no was a show like this could get made looking and animated like that. The opening credits are just amazing i had to rewatch it couple times...

                                Just watching ep1 of onepice & i think i have found another anime im going to really like.

                                Luffy is quite a character (^_^)

                                On another note has anyone seen a anime called Kekkou kamen, its too funny for words.

                                Its about a highschool girl who goes to a school thats run by perverted teachers. She has a secret double life where she turns in to kekkou kamen, the girl who fights in nothing but a mask & a pair or boots saving all the students from the perverted clutches of the teachers
