The worst bit is that was a typo on the part of the subbers. Apparently he downloaded 120GBs worth and not the 12GB they had down, hence why they released a v2 file. I mean 12GB alone is pretty mental but 120GB is just frightening.

Nana ep 16 - Moves onto Nana O's side of the story and still amazingly fun to watch.

Thankfully Hachi apologized for her outburst and they made up. Hachi as per usual for me, is the centre of all the comedy in the episode. Loved it when she went to apologize and Nana says "Am I your boyfriend or something?" and later on "Give me some space to breathe!". Plus there was Hachi's imagination running wild again with the secret love affair between Ren and Nana which I thought was great. Also liked the little touches such as how how Nana and Ren both greet Yasu in the same way "A-ta-shi". Surprising to hear that it's not the first time Ren has turned up at Yasu's place, I can't remember if this was mentioned in a previous episode so I might have missed it but I always thought that Ren had broken off all ties with them. Perhaps this means there's more to what Yasu was saying just before the practice session, about how he agreed with Hachi that Ren still had feelings for Nana. Shin acting more mature than Hachi, plus Hachi literally bursting to ask about Ren at the dinner table were some other good bits that came to mind.

about time she got over Mayama. Liked the stuff at the start with takamoto being penniless and Morita eating Hagu?s hands+food. Still The Yamada health spare visit and Nomiya put a grin on my face for her.

Yamada finally starting to get over Mayama. Nomiya again acting nice towards her which I thought was really sweet. The health spa visit was nice of Miwako as well. I hope Miwako gets together with Yamazaki that'd be a nice pairing IMO. Some comedy with Takemoto, Morita, Mayama and Hagu in the early parts. I loved the way Morita's brother did that emotional blackmail(scamming kids out of money for the sake of their project or whatever the hell it is) on him even down to the guy in the suit stood next to him shedding teards . Next ep looks like some backstory for Morita which I'm looking forward to, since up til this point he's had the short end of the stick in that regard. Hopefully this'll also signal that they are going to start tackling the Hagu/Morita/Takemoto love triangle, which is nice as those three haven't got as much screen time this season. Personally I'd like a Takemoto - Hagu pairing but given my luck with the series to this point, I'm going to say it won't end up like that. She likes Morita that much is plain to see(from season 1 at least), but I wonder how she sees Takemoto. Could be Shuuji and Takemoto left alone by the end of it . I hope Takemoto has a happy "ending" at least, whether that be getting together with Hagu or finding someone else. Probably my favourite character in the show since I can really relate to him.

My DVDs also arrived today. Got Haruhi Volume 1 and Aria the Natural volume 1. Pick of the bunch has to be Aria, simply for the lovely box that it comes with which has space to hold a further two DVD cases. Also has some lovely artwork on the cover. Extras for both are pretty limited but nice all the same with some more nice artwork on postcards and stuff. More of a fan purchase for me anyway so any worthwhile extras that come with them are a bonus.

Just thought I'd mention as well that Kamichu is out there fully subbed. Using JAP R2 DVD rips and for the first 4 eps R1 subtitles, with the other 12 episodes being fansubbed(or so I am reliably told). 4 episodes are DVD only episodes and I think each of the 16 episodes has some additional footage. I really enjoyed the first two eps I saw fansubbed around this time last year and I've already got this collection of eps downloaded so I'm looking forward to checking them out. Torrents and stuff can be found in the usual places.

Found out last night Shuffle! Translation had been completed in the last month and release in as a alpha patch, promptly set a shuffle! download last night(the newsgroups still had 18.07.06 posting of it up) and it was finish when I woke up, woohoo more Asa and (psycho)kaede

Well I hope the writing in the game is better than the writing towards the end of the show. It's what spoilt an otherwise decent show for me. Still find it hard to believe what went on. Not that I'll check the game out now(or ever unless I hear some good stuff about it.)

One Piece ch315-321 - null managed to get them all done in 2 weeks,

so can finally talk about it, all the Strawhat pulling out new finishers. Choppers 3rd rumbleball is freaking ace turning in to a huge ass kicking monster, Sanji?s Devils Foot, Zoro spirit forming 6 swords and of course Luffy Gear 2 and Gear 3. It was pretty funny then Rucci just thought he could take Gear 3 full on and got smashed through the wall? and special mention to SogaKing, Franky and Robin for stealing the arc, loved see a tearful Robin watching the crew some save her and robin holding on to the stone rail with her teeth.

Air gear ? didn?t realize the manga in raw format is up to chapter 137, I think the anime going to end up surpassing the scanned subs in a couple episodes as ep17 suppose to be the start of the Behemoth fight with good animation (for once)

Shuffle! The game ? took while to get it setup, its got lovely high res sprites for everything and the voices actors are very,very close to the what the anime used (could they even be the same, it's that close), it put a smile back on my face to hear Asa again, and knew when she would pop up when you get smacked from behind(screen flash and shakes) and you get the old ?Ay oooh?. Keeps a lot of the comedy from the 30mins I played with Itsuki's womanising getting him to trouble, strange not been given any choice options yet but for the first 20mins I played was like a introduction, you then get a what I can only call an opening credits. The translation itself is ok but has crap load of grammar problems which I would put down to the alpha patch (things like ?m? always being ?n? for some reason)

I also didn?t know the flat chested Mayumi was half demon either? im also tempted to look up a faq to see if you can bag her

Well I'm now officially in love with the show. Nanami sort of reminds me a little bit of Hachi from Nana, she sometimes manages to stick her foot in it with the stuff she comes out with and also quite a bit of the comedy in this ep centres around. In the end though she's a nicer character, at least at this point in this series, and much more likeable. I thought she was really cute in this episode. My favourite bits were probably the bit after they had the fight and she needed to plan what sort of play to do. Going on about a revenge story/murder story because she really wanted to kill him at that point, drawing doodles on his picture . The confession scene was also really nice I thought. There was the swearing when she got pissed off as well and the scene in the photo booth plus her comments about her head being bigger than his and how she looked like an octopus. It was interesting that they didn't get together in this ep. It all seemed to be going a bit fast. Nice to see they're taking their time with it. Good stuff, looking forward to the next ep

loved when she hit him over the head in the restaurant, dropped her purse when she ran out and he came to give it her back .

Witchblade ep4-6 ? not watched any of this is ages, certainly got a lot more into it when the other blade users turned up but it took another 2eps from ep4 to get fight between them, goin to stick with it for now.

Shuffle! Game, bah the alpha patch only goes up to the 2nd day for bug tested before there release a fully translated version

Seems a second season of Haruhi has been announced according to this. Could be fake or not I'm not sure. If true though, it's the best anime related news I've heard/read in a while. I loved the first season so I am definitely looking forward to more.

edit: seems it is fake, or at least there's no news in the magazine which confirms a second season. Oh well

Well I think we know the reason for them getting the money together, I thought it may have something to do with there dad being ill but it seems they want to buy his old workplace? Hagu getting very depressing to watch and it?s a bit strange a young girl like that thinking she won?t have the time before she dies to realized a crap load of ideas. Best comedy bit was certainly Mayama coming to the rescue of Rika

they build Rebecca into a perfect psycho and then make her do a u-turn on her deathbed, god knows where this shows suppose to be going it?s all over the place. Did like the stand off between the 2 key spirits, it was like a western showdown with Amil just coming out better than the other spirit. And somehow Zed?s become less annoying but is still a jackass

Yeah that was my guess as well. I was thinking that they were collecting some money so that they could get their dad to a specialist for some sort of help with an illness. Agreed on the Mayama bit, the entire sequence really from the bit where he said he wouldn't let anyone near her, laughed quite hard at that bit, particularly the reaction's from everyone else. Also liked the bit where he was dissing Yamada's cooking without him knowing she was behind him. Especially as we saw the kind of **** her and Hagu made in the last season. Wouldn't go near that stuff myself. As for Hagu, well she's not that young. In the first season when she first came in she was something like 18. I'm sure a couple of years have already passed, which would make her around 20-21 now. I guess I just didn't find it that weird that she was thinking about it. I actually thought it was pretty cool and gave more insight to her character. I'm also wondering if the bit between Shuuji and Morita means he's "given up" on Hagu perhaps opening the door for Takemoto.

. Quality episode again. This puts us about halfway through the season now and the manga has already finished. I'll miss the show when it's gone
