I actually got pretty angry at the black knights for being so ready to turn on the man that got them into a winning position and then try to use him to gain japans freedom... pfftt.

Loved the bit with Kallen returning as it's really brought the impact of how much at changed in so little time and i liked Lulu lying to Kallen in the stand off followed by is whispered "live on", i wanted Kallen to grab him and run off with just the 2 of them. And then finally Rolo, easily one of my most hated characters ever, but even after being told bluntly by Lulu he wanted him dead he still acted as a brother to him and sacrificed himself which even had me feeling sorry him which i didn't think was possible.

Macross F ep19 - decent ep with a love triangle cliff hanger but im betting that before princess can give an answer the vaj will turn up. Plus how the hell does Princess hope to please Sheryl with a Ranka redarrows display.... the mind boggles. Still... come on Sherly!!!

Strike Witches ep5-7 - lol, top fan service stuff... i can't believe for a show like this so much effort has gone into the history of WW2 planes and machinery while episodes can revolve around the likes of missing panties, which i think should be a story arc in every show. Hope the dvd ep are subbed soon, the quality of releases is shocking and the random bursts of light and shadow super annoying

Birdy ep4-6 - finally have some half decent encodes out, and the news of them getting another season is good with me as i like this show quite abit as it has character, i certainly like birdy and the psycho girl .

Zero no Tsukaima s3 ep5-6 - still following the extact formula of s1/s2 which lot of nonsense with no plot followed by ep11-12 with all the plot and action... not that lesbo centred filler plots are bad.

Kaiba ep12 - watched the last episode, overall a different slice of animation and story telling im use to which made it all the better everything got explained in the end.

xxxHolic kei ep13 - another last ep, going out with a whimper after the pretty cool bad luck arc, and acted as more of see all the characters we meet in season 2 again for a meal...

Surprised I felt a pang of sadness for Rolo after all he'd done. Just the few scenes with Nina really annoyed me though. How could she not realize the scale of destruction her weapon could cause? Seriously one of the most annoying characters I've encountered since Rossiu.

Finally there's actually some bloody prgress with the whole triangle business even if it was bloody obvious. My current theory is that Ranka buggers off with the Vajra at some point, possibly due to Alto being all huggy with Sheryl or being tricked by Grace and ends up leading a mass vajra army only to be saved by Alto finally choosing her. I just can't see it as a Sheryl end somehow despite the hints.

Geass 19 - Boring if I'm honest. Thoroughly illogical as well. Apparently not one of the Black Knights though to ask the question

why Zero was doing all of this. Gotta love them putting themselves on the high ground when they were terrorists all by themselves before. Lolz. Rolo death was a bit dull as well. And Schniezel will come out the end of the series smelling like roses. Greh.

Edit: Been compared to a lot but Geass really does remind me of Death Note in it's pacing - interesting at the start but towards the end it's starting to drag a bit.

Edit 2: Finally acquired the second season of Slayers and it's brilliant fun. Some childish jokes but it works so well.

You have no Soul , also i thought they all pretty much gone with Lulu having been using them to make his own Empire, which pretty much how the Britianna family is seen ala "Dog eat Dog", and Lulu pretty much cemented their thoughts with choosen words in the showdown.

Also been catching up with last season stuff, and not seen anything of the new season apart from Slayers and Mahou Tsukai.

Special A 15-19 - It been getting better and better, and i have say i actually enjoy watching it now and for once we get actual relationships started in the secondary characters(and quite a few episodes for none main characters) and a surprising amount of laughs, something i certainly would not have thought possible from eps 1-10 (which i mostly skipped through)

Itazura na Kiss ep16-18 - surprisied they found some more story for this after the 1st half.

Irie acting coldly to Kokoto all the time, and then turning in a total nob jocky because he can't handle another worthy guy on the scene, needs to have kokoto taken off him

Just finished up Kaiba, I really couldnt get on with the art style at first but it does grow on you and by the end of the series you'll have coem to love it The intro music is lovely as well, infact the music throughout the series is excellent.
The story is one of the more bizarre/interesting ones i've come across for sure hehe

Finished Kaiba myself today after a bit of a hiatus from watching anime. Excellent show. I thought I was going to like it at the start because it was hitting all the right notes, but I'm surprised how much it surpassed my expectations. Unique and interesting art/animation with a nice story plus some lovely and at times extremely haunting music. I loved some of the episodic stories in the middle of the series. I think I'd like to see something like that, with the creators' imagination running wild and bringing to life all sorts of weird and wonderful environments and creatures. Up there with Kurenai as the best show I've seen. Now to finish up some other stuff...

MS Negima OVA ep 1 - Ala Alba. This is exactly want i've bloody wanted all these years, a proper cover of the manga story and its all the more disappointing its only going to be a short 3eps .

Pickups with a montage of the end of the festival(clips of Chao fight and Good Bye, the Eva training for Asuna) then starts proper with the formation of the team that goes england and Negi's sister turning up. Would have liked to have seen the full Chao fight animated with all that timestop warping and massive firepower .

What i wouldn't give to see Shaft do a full long running season of MSN instead of random comedy like Negima!?! or another failure like the original tv show which started well but ended really badly.

Wasn't expecting him die until Klan confession which gave me the whole Yoko vibe, not a nice way to go getting stabbing inthe chest and blown out into space. I'm pretty sure we'll now see a Sheryl becoming the song buffer for the humans while Ranka remains the Vaj debuffer(for buffer depending on her emotional state). Next eps looks good with a guaranteed raging Klan(and maybe Hime too) Anyway a obligatory NNNNNNNNoooooooooo Michel.

I like Lulu's new resolve to drag Charlie to hell with him and untentional comedy with Suzaku(who else) running away from a Man V Man fight because of his geass orders . And while charlie's PLAN A still isn't explained we at least get the Anya thing sorted, im pretty such that Lulu's mum has a mind swap or mind copying geass so she'd live on after her death. Bring on ep21

Natsume Yuujinchou - ep1-3, got around to watching one of the new shows and i really like this. Like a copy of Ghost Stories with the Book being list instead of a Guide, both have a cat as the 'friendly' ghost and dead family member who put togther the book.

One Piece ch512 - holy fecking crap, i don't think many people expected

it to go so wrong, Kiz vs Silvers, while a badly beat up strawhats fights of PX1, VP bodyguard Sentoumaru and the real Kuma... and Zoro gone from strawhats, Franky mega vent, Usopp stand and Chopper going monster... just how are then going to escape PX1 and Sentoumaru let alone Kuma, when Luffy the strongest of them can only hurt himself when punching Sentoumaru

As for the other One Piece anime subbers than KF how are the INP, VP and Nakama subs? and does anyone have ep254 onwards
