Rideback ep8 - really good episode that advances the plot quite bit. Really sets up the GGP a bunch of scumbags, as before i really didn't care for them as the main antagonists but they got a ton of cheap heat from me here .

Now really get to see if Rin willing to fight the GGP or not over the next few episodes or go onthe run from both the terrorists and GGP.

Got me hooked big time now, best show this season for sure.

Gundam 00 ep21 - Shows starting to drop the ball now its getting close to the final, just hope it doesn't turn whats been a decent sequel into Destiny...

all the other characters just seem so worthless now its turned into the Setsuna show and characters are dying left and right to clean the plot up for the last 5 eps, you can pretty much bet Lock2n, Louise and Graham are going home in body bags soon.

Unless they pull some magic for the final eps, Season1 > Season2.

what is going on with soul eater? it seemed to be following the manga perfectly for a long time, with hardly any filler. but now it seems to have become totally different. its really weird.

watched the second live action death note movie last night too. wasnt as good as the first, and changed lots from the anime. i wasnt sure if there was going to be a third part or not. but no.
this one centred on light/L/misa and them giving up the books and regaining them. obviously they changed the ending a fair bit to finish off the story.
the light vs L stuff was the best part of the anime so i cant blame them for that i suppose.

I had no idea Soul Eater not been following the manga, but then thats a nod for the anime for quality not to drop. The whole City vs City thing was F***ing TTGL fantastic.

Regios ep8 - There should be some RomCom spin off just for Filli. Most underated show of the season!

can anything go right for Tomoya, Ushio pretty much dead on her feet, that light piano music with the walk was another in long list of moments Clannads knocked up. I don't care if they have fix it with hax magic, just let us have a happy ending for once Key.

There is a 3rd Death Note movie ***, called L: Save the World, I doubt Film4 will be showing it as it's much more recent than the first 2. Completly original story that shows what L got up to in his last 23 days.

re: Soul Eater. I did think the quality of the show has dropped a bit since it started out quite well but it has got alot better. Have no idea what parts are filler but the power up shouting sequences make me cringe every time

They do seem to be heading down a raher depressing route. Most especially since 22 is labeled as the "last" episode with 23 and 24 being extras.

That got to me even worse that Nagisa's death. Ushio knowing she's not going to get better and Tomoya realising she knows it. Watching her struggle along in the snow. Then finally "Are we on a train?". Argh god damn I cried heavily. This so isn't a series for preserving your masculinity.

No one deserves a break more than Tomoya.

Thank god Kyoani's next series is an adaptation of a gag manga.

Finally got around to finishing Shakukan no Shana 2, reallyh disapoined by the ending...Yoshida didnt die >_< I was hoping for that the entire season, has to be my mos hated character of any anime ever.

I was practically cheering for her to use the Hougu "USE IT USE IT USE IT USE IT USE IT YOU ANNOYING BITCH!"

Other than that it was a really enjoyable series, any word on series 3?

Possible announcement for it for this Autumn. Nothing concrete though. The ending for season 2 was supposed to be vastly different to how it was though. The only good part out of the entire series was the Sabrac fight.

Edit: How manga makes things better;
Take life and death of the secretary to Alexander the Great.
Adapt into manga format.

WHY IS THIS SO ENJOYABLE?!

I'd read teh synopsis for Historie about 5 or 6 times but avoided it because it sounded dull. More fool me.

Now, you see, that sounds quite intriguing to me. Something a little different from the norm anyway. After Aria, Yakitate Japan and Nodame Cantabile I'm always willing to give stuff a shot even if it's not something I've had prior interest in (I guess Ippo also fits too since I wasn't big on boxing before watching it).

In other news I'm about a third of the way through the first volume of the Guin saga now and it's been okay. Nothing earth-shatteringly brilliant. There's quite a bit of action in it and not so much character development but I suppose with 100+ volumes that maybe addressed in later volumes. Hasn't quite grabbed me so far though

I was expecting magic but not on the scale it was used to reset ushio's birth, i was expecting the magic to just fix Ushio and for any moment what i thought was a dream to end and wind up at Ushio in Tomoya arms alive and well.

I'm not against the the results of the ending but the method used, well i can say Tomoya deserved some happiness and im glad Nagisa alive
