little east blue island has Shiki ordering some mexican looking people to take the giant beetle on it, im guessing for his world domination plan, ep427-429

Finished Strong world, which for me the best of the Shounen films for any show, which probably comes down to Oda being involved. Shiki is a pretty good villian and worthy of a place amoung the main canon, but his hetchmen we're extremely weak for whats gone before inthe main story and films or could it be that Sanji and Zoro have gotten that strong? Loved the final action and Luffy vs Shiki which will most likly be a 1 time move never to be repeated

(and while it seems stupid he let it him, shiki didn't seem smart enough to realise electricity doesn't hurt rubber, and many other strong villians like luchi have underestimated gear3 and tried to 'tank/defend' it)

and the final little bit back on the Sunny with Nami's message is great . Art was great, animation has ok not quite to the standard previous shounen films for some reason, lots of costume changes and a tight fast paced story.

Im now pretty sure this is set before Sabaody, if its suppose to be canon. But then we've never had official sanction as to whatever its suppose to be to the main one piece story, outside of the 'ep 0' being 100% canon.

Finished watching Masoukishin Cybuster from '99 the other day. Enjoyed it more than I expected, and looking forward to the new SRW anime coming in the Autumn.

Really disappointed with this season, only following HOTD (which is great, even if it's an oversubscribed genre)

Hoping on the next season though. Sora no Otoshimono S2, The World God Only Knows, Panty and Stockings (or whatever it's called).

Could have a lot that's well worth watching for me.

Its not great outside of HoTD and occult but i've warmed up to Mitsudomoe and Amagami(interesting that it will reset the story every 4 eps), Seitokai Yakuindomo and Ookami ain't anything special but at least watchable plus and i can always make time to watch great trash like Sekirei(s2), Basera(s2) and Strike witches(s2). Asobi seems a complete mess inthe story department and way to much random 'sunshine' moments getting inthe way still gonna give it a few more eps but i think about waiting for dvd rips.

Still there always k-on and strangely for me, Heroman... i don't know why but i enjoy watching the show now, probably something to do with a Hulk'esk story arc they just did winning me over and the end of the 1st story arc with the skrugg was great.

What do you guys think of Heroman, never heard of it till i saw the lovely art ads on Crunchyroll. Is it a stinker? I understand Stan Lee collaberated with Bones on this.

i watched about 6 pr 7 episodes, and had a few more downloaded already, but decided to give up on it.
what i saw was nothing special story or animation/design wise.

Ah man that just before the point Heroman steps up a gear(my early posts show how disappointed i was with it), i was just skipping through eps before that, catching a bit of story, watching the bit of fighting until he get into the brutal fight vs the Skrug Boss ep8-10 where Joey mans the 'fck up' and rarely for show like this his relationship with the girl improves each episode moving from that typical japanese anime setup of blushing/embrassment and nothing happening to actual dating, must be Stans doing.

After the Skrug, the story goes all Hulk on us with the goverment chasing down Heroman scared of his strength(as they couldn't do anything to the Skrug) gets into another big boss fight, currently the story moved on to a new anti-hero+goverment working on skrug tech which im betting will involve a skrug comeback and the 2nd opening is ace.

Worth just fast fowarding through ep1-7 and half of 8 enough toget the jist of the story then watch from then on, the art and animation are really good every episode regardless of ****ty comedy filler or all out action.

It may be creepy pandering but I'm impressed at the quality of animation. AIC have really stepped up their game in recent years.

Now they just need to do a new Battle Athletes series.
