FMA

The last ep of FMA is gonna be hectic - surely. Lots to tie up -> I hope it does finish there. Was hoping for an hour to take it to a standardish 52ep series but it seems not from the tv guides. Oh well.
Shame it has to end but I hope its a good one.

Yeah... It has loads of potential. Although I don't really see how they're gonna be able to wrap all of this up in only 45 minutes. I reserve my final judgement for next week (which I can't wait for), but as things stand right now I feel this (excellent) show would have deserved a few more episodes.
Something tells me that a bad ending this way comes.

Yes, of course, it's predictable that they just can't do that to the series' main character (well, not at least until the last episode -- case in point, Cowboy Bebop). But still, when watching something I tend to suspend my disbelief as long as VLC is running. And, well... Wow.

NM did that naruto movie turn out to be real? if so hows the quality?

nope, it was an unburnable image, i tried everything to extract the data from the file (including running it through a hex editor) it was a no go.

ah well... oh but the Naruto 2 for the ps2 came out 2 days ago on yarrr.

Naruto Hero PS2 games, i remember the 1st being only worth it for the super moves they came up with, i think i'll wait for Ninja wars 3 on the GC.

they've changed the way that the supers work, they now require constant pressing of one button (or wiggling of the stick)

Oh just thought I'd let you guys know I've joined Anime-Empire as well to do Beck and help out with there other series (Yakitate mostly but the other stuff as well).

Beck starts next week be sure to watch it.

Finally Maria-Sama... Haru 8 is out, and it's a refreshing return to the bitchness of the first few episodes. I loved how nasty Rei and Sachiko were to the new girl. Touko is annoying though, I think they've done a fantastic job of making her so hateable. She's bound to end up as Yumi's petite-soeur, probably at Sachiko's order. Can't wait to see Yumi get a spine and put her in her place

Another thing I love about this series are the previews, the Maria-sama rap was hilarious, and like the DVD specials, its nice to see the cast having some fun.

I've still got lots of DeathNote to catch up with, but so far it's been Very entertaining, and surprisingly clever. Glad to see someone else here reads it! I've also still got far too much Alchemist to go too. Btw Newmiyamoto, are there any other manga's similar in tone to DeathNote? I'm more of an Anime fan, so stuff like this sometimes escapes my attention.
