I'm amazed they strung out the Kimimaro fight for another episode, especially when it should really have been dedicated to the 'biggie'. On the other hand, the backstory part was very well done, with some tasty mini-kimi fighting.

As a side note, I didn't think they actually ended long running stuff like Prince of Tennis. Oh noes, that means Naruto may end at some point

I was like "wow!" when I saw his jutsu animated. Naruto is on form. Looks like this arc is going to end in spectacular fashion.

I was watching over some older episodes. They've aged again Lee's jaw is way bigger, and Gaara's cheek bones are much more defined. The aging of the characters is so impressive.

1st off

My-Hime 22-24 - more goodness, short but small fights and plenty of nuttness from the Hime's, specially the Shizuru in what is clearly 'Lesbian-SEED mode'. I like the way things are coming to head with the 4 last Himes and 2 eps to go and things are certainly going to end badly with Natsuki and Shizuru finally face off specially if they are each others MIP, and Mai got another kick in the teeth losing another person close to her ><. Can't wait for 25/26.


Gundam Seed Destiny, now AK-Aone have stopped subbing it, which subbers have you picked up for ep21/22? its seems a choice between SEED and ZAFT.


tenjou Tenge OVA - stills seems a complete mess of ideas, to many powerups out of nowwhere for this nagi vs mit meetings which really jars against the skill levels we've seen of everyone else in the anime so far, and has the OVA finished at ep2?

I thought the second episode of the Tenjou Tenge OVA was a lot better than the first; the animation seemed a step up from episode 01 which was in-line with that from the series. More Maya and Aya action too which is never a bad thing!

Mai-HiME's my fave show of the moment. It's consistently surprised and impressed me throughout and its gonna be sad to see it off in only 2 weeks' time. It looks like the series is heading for some kind of world reset ending ala RahXephon or Scrapped Princess.

As for Destiny, I'm with SEED fansubs now. There's another group by the name of Haro2 and Tori2 which worked on SEED after it had been announced as licensed. I can't remember the quality of their subs but they must have been OK if I've nothing bad to say about them.
