Massa must feel as though he was mugged mere yards away from his front door. Classic stuff. Fernando, I salute you.

Amazing to see all the top guys making four stops, and Kubica was it ? made six stops and still finished in the points, cracking race, really closes up the Drivers Championship, have to feel sorry for Kimi, Mr Unlucky once again, and what were McLaren thinking sticking Hamilton on slicks at the restart ?

I ran out of time watching my recording of this last night with 20 laps to go as the MotoGp came on, thought "nothing interesting will happen now". WOW, was I wrong, read all this and I'll be watching the last 20 laps as soon as I can now, but I'm at work at the mo
MotoGp was pretty good as always, shame it was such a short program though, all the crashes and drama in quali/practice deserved a lot more screen time. Surely Stoner is going to get the title this year now? Who can possibly stop him? 4 weeks till the next race though now, boo.

Stoner is looking like the (consistent) Alonso of Moto GP, just not Rossi's year
The corkscrew is just amazing no matter how many times you see it, even ten years on it takes your breath away.
Good to see DuHamel back on TV also, a real name from the past.
Did anyone else see Hopper taking a kick at someone (while riding) in qualifying ? serves him right binning it on the first lap after that little outburst.

Nah, it's good to have some emotion going on. The other guy (who's name I didn't get due to the beebs poor amount of time dedicated) clearly was cruising on one of the fastest parts of the circuit whilst others were on hot laps. If I'd been in the same situation I'd have done similar and given it all the aggro too.
Hopper was taken off by Hayden anyway, they both made mistakes but Hopper was turning back in normally when Hayden (going slower) cut into him. Def racing incident but I'd put slightly more blame on Hayden.
Laguna Seca is on my list of places to drive/ride round before I die. I think I may mess my pants doing the corkscrew on a bike though

I think it was Carlos Checa that Hopper aimed his kick at. The corkscrew is just amazing, the sudden elevation drop, but more importantly the speed at which they are suddenly launched down it. It really gives you an appreciation of how much grip those bikes have like no other corner in the world does.
Actually, it reminds me of plenty of Alton Towers rides from my childhood.

yesterday was a great day for racing again, F1 proved it CAN be fun !
excellent performance from Alonso, and one great overtake from Hamilton on Fishicella on the outside in that corner ?! excellent stuff !
MotoGP was an all Bridgestone party, to bad Rossi couldn't keep up with the front runners, I would have liked to see a nice battle for 1st position.....
Looks like nothing can touch the Ducati/Bridgestone/Stoner combination at the moment, he riding very very strong,
next year Melandri will join him at Ducati, could be interesting
