Massa is always fantastic when hes on pole and just cant be beaten but when he isnt he falls to bits. I feel same about Alonso I want him to replace Kimmy at Ferrari. Ive heard rumours for awhile even before he won his title that he just wanted to win it once and thats it. Hes susposed to be a serious party animal and a adrenaline junkie (and a total natterbox that never shuts up away from the camera) and Ive just heard allegedly he wants to go off and do other things, I just cant see him being in it after next year.

Actually, it's 3 races in a row; he fell off in Laguna Seca while battling with Rossi for the lead. Quite unbelievable really.
I really like Rossi but I'd rather Stoner was challenging him to the end of the season for the championship. With a 75 point lead Valentino can take a holiday and still win it.
Cracking WRC this past weekend as well, Latvala's matched Stoner's 3 crashes in 3 events.

So Red Bull get rid of this years big crasher (DC) and want to replace him with an equally famed car benderI think they'd do better with Buemi and Senna, I see no place for Bourdais in F1 either, he's had his chance and all he's proved is that F1 is very different to Champ or wherever he came from!

Redbull want to sell their over priced syrup in Japan though. The brand only arrived here last year so Sato would be good from a marketing point of view. And let's face it, the Redbull teams are only in it for marketing, I mean they don't make cars so Sato could be a perfect fit.
Senna would also be a marketer's dream though. I am mixed on him as he will likely never be as successful as his uncle yet will have an army of ready made fans because of it. Sponsors will line up to add their name, and that alone could sway Berger, alongside the emotional attachment he probably has to the young Brazilian.
You are right about Bourdais. Imports from America don't work, I mean look at Andretti back in '93 and da Matta a couple of years back. CHUMP car champ doesn't equal F1 champ (forgetting JV for a mo) as F1 is in a whole new league of excellence imo.Last edited by Richard.John; 03-09-2008, 00:31.

yeah, 2 years ago I was there as well with free tickets from work , I had tickets in front of EauRouge, it's an amazing track (I had a track day there once with the motor bike)
We get these tickets from one of the clients
and yes, unfortunally no time to make a MACHOMAN banner, thinking of it, that would be awesome, I bet they would show it on the TV if I had one, everyone thinking "who is that idiot ??" LOL
