Will Massa run Alonso off the road on Brazil?

Maybe Alonso will take Schumacher out, Schumacher style!

I really enjoyed this race. This has definitely been one of the best seasons of the last 10 years, I can't remember the last time it went down to the wire.

It was great when Schumacher went out, Alonso will surely break all his records if he wins the title this year, as looks likely, and then we can all forget about Schumacher and his cheating ways... I still can't believe people in this country like him, after what he did to Damon as well, talk about unpatriotic, it's glory hunting of the worst kind. He puts peoples lives at risk to his own selfish ends and it surely doesn't say much about the people who actually like him, from this country especially...

It's abit more understandable for Germans, but that's it, and he's even made himself unpopular with them, at times at least, and even they find him arrogant.

Nothing to do with him being one of the best drivers ever to grace the sport then?

I guess you never liked Senna either then if you don't like the aggressive moves?

once he finishes at the end of the season i imagine him being forgoten for being a great driver and remembred for being a dangerouse idiot that would pull of any stunt to get the win.

Agressive moves are fine if you can pull them off with some skill, but how many times has he ended up ramming someone or forceing them off the road.

No chance, the stats and figures will remain for a long long time. I'm pretty damn sure he will always be remembered as the greatest driver of his generation and among the best ever.

I was referring to the times that Senna rammed people off the road to gain titles, just like Schu, he too as you say "would pull any stunt to get the win", ruthless springs to mind, just like Schu.

I'm no Schu or Ferrari fan but I can at least see that he is the best at the moment and will long be remembered as such.

I'm with Alastair with this one, firmly still believe that if you put both Sch and Alonso in exactly the same car tomorrow, for either one lap or a full race distance Sch would come out on top.

As the commentators said yesterday, if Sch had won, he would have the same amount of wins and Prost & Senna added together.

Sch holds virtually every record going, most of those will last for many many years to come.

Again as the commentators said yesterday Sch is really at the top of his game at the moment and driving better than ever.

                            Great argument there, well done.

Anyway, lets get away from that. Has Ross Brawn officially announced his retirement/sabbatical? James Allen mentioned that he had in the commentary yesterday and also in his write up of the race. I thought it was still speculation?

Everyone says it is happening, but don't think Ferrari are going to make the official announcement until after the last race of the season - I read that somewhere last week. Wonder who'll take on the role next year ...

Cheers David, thought I'd missed something in the press/reports.

It'll be someone from inside wont it that has been being trained up all season and knows exactly how the Ferrari ways work. Will be interesting to see if they can do such a good job as Brawn does (if he does leave).
