Think it was Hockenheim when Kovalainen let Hamilton through without any orders, McLaren said they never even radioed him, but this was definitely team orders from Ferrari; there's no way Raikkonen was going to let through Massa without being told that he had to, but I just don't see what the big deal is. The guy in the press conference was asking both the Ferrari drivers to "explain" the pass, WTF does he want them to say? If the driver in front can't win the title and the one behind him can, obviously he's going to let him past, it's the same in any motor sport.

Also, did any catch the Rob Smedley interview at the end? Thought it was a bit weird him talking about how much faster Hamilton was than Kovalainen as opposed to discussing Massa's race. Top marks to Ted for his unique brand of questioning as usual

Dull race but Hamilton was in a class of his own all weekend. Those first two corners in Brazil will be interesting!

Great stuff from Hamilton. Different class today!

Looking really good to win it now and that's just what he needed before the final weekend, a good solid comfortable race where he didn't put a foot wrong the whole time.

I'm still furious about the Bourdais/Massa incident last week though. They showed it again countless times this morning and discussing it and I still don't understand how he got the 25 second penalty for it. When you think about it, the penalty should have went the other way to Massa, so he would be out of contention by now and we'd be crowning LH champion today. But that's the FIA for you.

What was ITV's take on the Bourdais incident? I missed all the pre-race stuff this morning. Interested to know if they are taking sides or not!

They took Bourdais' side obviously. Couldn't understand the decision either, I believe that's what they said.

Rossi was untouchable today, just like Hamilton.

it was good to see Hamilton taking the win here. This is champion stuff. he TAKES the win instead of getting points handed over after the race, I really hope Lewis can keep it cool next race and finish in the points , I really don't want Massa to win the championship...

it's sad though, the motorsport season is almost over again....

I really don't want Hamilton to win the championship. I'm sick of ITV's Lewis Hamilton show lasting 3 hours every sunday.

Maybe it's best if he does and then we can all get used to it. His first of many most likely.

Not his fault ITV love him. So shouldn't bring it out on Lewis.

He's England/UK's biggest and best racer for over a decade and arguabley the best racer this season who does deserve to win the WDC and has been top of the table for half the season. Why shouldn't most of the coverage be focused on him from his home country or any country for that matter.

Agree m8. Id rather they concentrate abit more on Coulthard and Button. They dont go interviewing him before a race anyway because they too scared it puts him off (although their quite happy to badger everyone else) and instead of walking down the grid to talk to the other british drivers instead they stand their and whitter more about him.

Found the race boring. Massa was his usual self cant do owt when he aint winning. End I found funny with Dennis's comments over the radio sounds like Hamilton has had some lessons this week with how to take a steady drive. Also think hes listened to advice and maybe had some coaching on how to deal with the press better as he wasnt his usual arrogant cocky self post race interview he was for once reserved. If he keeps that up I might actually be intrested in his ability as a driver. Kudos to him he drove perfect. If it wasnt for all his silly mistakes though he would have had it sewn up way before now this half of season.

Good news for Ferrari with constructors title

Feel sorry for Kimmy moving over. You can debate all the should they shouldnt they since the days of when Coulthard let Mika thru near end of the race in Australia back in 98 both teams have done it ever since.

They nearly always do talk to Coulthard and Button though (and also Davidson when he was driving) and it's not like they haven't been given the attention over the years. Who can really forget the obsession with Button when he arrived on the scene? The only difference with Hamilton is that he's leading the championship so is actually more worthy of some of the attention. Coulthard's too busy crashing into people and moaning about it; Button's in a ****ty car (and is being outpaced by Barrichello) so it's usually a miracle if these guys even finish a race, why do they need to concentrate more on them?

A rock solid performance by Hamilton today yes. Did as he needed to, Ferrari's seemed very slow off the line which was the begining of the end really.

If Massa hadn't had two engine blow ups and that nightmare with the fuel rig the championship table would be looking very different. All if's and but's, but when the Ferrari bosses sit down at the end of the season reliability has got to be brought up near the top of the list of things to improve upon.

Still should be a cracking race in Brazil and as the saying goes, it's not over until the fat lady sings.

But all those faults are Ferrari's; you could say if it wasn't for the stewards awarding points to Massa at Belgium (not to mention Japan), then Hamilton would already be champion by now.

Exactly, all if's and but's. Can't see Hamilton chucking the title away again, but all it takes is something like a puncture to change things totally.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, Hamilton either needs to make a mistake or have some misfortune to not finish 5th or better. Just look at Kovailanen's puncture today, scary to think that something like that could ultimately decide the championship.
