Yup, or the FIA being twats as usual.

He is on his second engine too but as they were saying today, it doesn't make much of a difference if your engine is on it's first or second run now as they've put alot of effort in to keeping them healthy over two races.

Is it next week or two weeks time the Brazil race?

      2 weeks' time.

The only difference with Hamilton is that he's leading the championship so is actually more worthy of some of the attention. Coulthard's too busy crashing into people and moaning about it; Button's in a ****ty car (and is being outpaced by Barrichello) so it's usually a miracle if these guys even finish a race, why do they need to concentrate more on them?
If their going to support british Id just like to see more of other drivers. Yep I remember Button his dad used to be with Tony Jardine and vampire in the studio every week in his first year. I just find it abit sad that every race we get a massive interview with Lewis usually done day before but nothing from him on race buildup because he wont do live interviews before the race. They have stopped the dad interviews as well thankfully. We dont see Button or Coulthard to that extent we just get a quick hello normally. Id actually like em to mix it up more give us more of the drivers. I know Kimmi would rather climb out the window than do an interview but it would be nice to know more about him I think alot of people forget the coverage is sent out to alot of countrys what arent just British via ITV and before it BBC so Id personally like to see the full spectrum from Force india up and I get peed off with Brundle as he can never be arsed to walk further back than 10th.

I think it's difficult for Brundle as more of the drivers are becoming increasingly reluctant to speak on the grid, but beyond that, even though they never fail to have an interview with Hamilton, they do usually speak to a wide array of the drivers at other points and we quite often get interviews with Button and Coulthard. There are 20 drivers and they can't speak to all of them every week.

At least you get grid interviews. No such luxuries here.

To walk back past 10th is 80 metres through a sometimes vast crowd. Also, ITV has started with either Ted or Louise interviewing drivers at the back of the grid this season. Coulthard has just done his retrospective interviews about his career which I enjoyed and I get the impression that Jensen is so embarresed about his current predicament that he would prefer not to be interviewed at all.
The producers will sit down at the start of the race weekend and ask themselves "It's the climax of a a thrilling season with two driver capable of winning. Shall we focus on them or do a 20 minute interview with Adrian Suttil?"
I think it's an easy question.

Apparently the FiA are trying to convince the BBC not to hire Brundle for next year because of the article he wrote for the Sunday Times about the McLaren/Ferrari spy thing last year. Don't know if the Beeb have already offered him a contract but I would have thought (and certainly hoped) his move was a sure bet. There surely will be an outcry if he doesn't get signed just because he's willing to speak out against the FiA.

Hope he does switch channels, the "Pikey" comment won't have done him any favours with the Beeb though.

Yeah when I read the headline, I was thinking it might have been due to the pikey comment, but don't think the BBC would pass him up because of that.

Oh right the same Brundle thats not impartial as a commentator and accused the FIA of a witch hunt against Mclaren in the papers and implying it was down to a Ferrari bias when it transpired they where infact nicking information and cheating off Ferrari so not infact a witch hunt then but cheats being caught?

The guys a Mclaren thru and thru hes had close ties to them for years, drove for them and manages David Coulthard who drove for them for years and he also owns his own management team of other drivers (one of which is a Mclaren test driver). For me thats just abit too much brand loyalty when you kick off in the press over a team in favour of them that was caught cheating.

I cant say I will miss him if BBC dont pick him up. Plenty of other great commentators out their. Damon Hill did a great 1st job when Brundle wasnt around after the pikey comment on the next race. Myself I dont think you can beat the days of James Hunt and Murrie Walker.

Try actually reading the article; Brundle backs up every claim he makes in it. Also, as a commentator, even with drivers he's associated with in a management role, he's just as quick to criticise them as he is to praise them. I think he offers an invaluable insight to the sport since he's far more knowledgeable than any of us could ever wish to be.

I love Brundle, he is always making me laugh as well as offering real insight. I liked his joke about about making Fisi his driver of the day last week.

He could try, but his blatant Ferrari bias would stop him seeing the words anyway.

Ferrari have nicked just as much tech in their time as anyone else, it's the nature of the game in F1.
