It was like it last year and they also wanted a single set of tyres to last a whole weekend. Didnt make much of a difference, really. All that happens is teams want to do less laps in testing etc, no incidents are created, really.

Yeah i remember last year quite well. I think that overall the change was handled pretty well. The tyre rule was absolutely ridiculous because IMO it took something away from the motorsport.

yep I forgot about the engine lasting two races rule also, doh.

The sooner they move to a control tyre the better. In the last couple of seasons it has turned into the world tyre championships.

What's wrong with these V8 Ferraris? The V10's NEVER blew up.

Maybe I wont buy the F430 I've got on order now with that in mind!!

These cost cutting measures are understandable but why punish the drivers. The FIA should fine the teams, hit them where it hurts, in their wallets.

I totally forgot F1 was back on now!!

Better Sky + it from now on so I dont miss it next time.
Thats a crap rule they've got for the engine's lasting 2 races, never liked it. Like DC says on the BBC website there, it should be about a team and their performance for an individual weekend. Nothing else.

But it's the smaller teams who suffer most from unreliability (excluding Mclaren!) and they are also the ones who can least afford to go racing... fines would not help the situation.

Don't blame me if it has fatalities please. I didn't make it, nor have I watched it all to check yet.

Deducting points from the team in the constructors championship is my solution (no points deducted from the drivers though)
