When i saw the coverage of crash on live feed, feared he was dead no kidding. His head was bobbling about all unnaturally in my opinion, commentators reaction was surprising muted.

Glad he is all well barring his leg.

      Amazing, amazing race.

Loved every minute of that. Except the crash. Taking 10 minutes to announce that he's even alive was a bit harsh. Maybe he was unconscious or something, though. Have to wait and see I suppose.

Couldn't believe my eyes seeing what Sato manages on Ralf and Alonso at the end of the race. Real icing on the cake, even though I follow Mclaren and Alonso. Just unreal, better tyres or not.

      Oh, and well done Hamilton!!!!

What a race! I'm hooked on F1 once again, its great!

I've always liked Sato so to see him terrorising his way through the pack at the end was just ace!

And of course amazing for Hamilton to win. Unbelievable, cant wait to see what he has in store for us next.

A great win from LH. Well deserved considering the chaos going on around him. Kubica's crash was scary though. It was the worst crash we have seen in years. The HANS system probably saved his neck and his life.

Yes cracking race. Really pleased for Hamilton - when you think at the start of February it was 50/50 he would even be in F1 this year.

Who'll give me odds on Schumacher being back in the Ferrari next year

Does anyone have a link to 'the' crash that's not on youtube (it's blocked here).

Like Pete I missed the middle part of the race, have the highlights recorded for tonight but want to see the crash NOW.

I's been confirmed now that Kubica hasn't broken anything, sprained ankle and light concussion, lucky guy.

I can't remeber seeing a more horific crash in F1 in the last 20+ years (probably only Zinardi and the late Gregg Moore crash's in CART in a televised motorsport event) ~ I was seriously worried for his life at the time. Its been said before but its a testiment to the incredible safety of the modern F1 car.

Anyone who thought going for Pedro De La Rosa over Hamilton at McLaren must be keeping themselves to themselves by now, fantastic stuff from Lewis, really impressed with Heidfeld and not that ive said this very often over the years but Sato was brilliant, his strategy of going back to the prime tyres instead of the option was awesome stuff!

How gutted must the Honda boys be that their car from last year is capable of that. Davidson would have been top 6 too had it not been for that pesky beaver!

Is it against the rules to go back to last years car for the main team?

If it meets the regulations I guess not.

Intrigued to know why a few of the cars didn't pit when the safety car was out (and the pit lane was open), seemed like teams didn't know the rules, very bizarre and costly for the likes of Webber, Barrichelo etc.

Roll on Indy, should be great, hard to see past the speed of the McLarens though.

The safety car rules all changed this year, I'm not familiar enough with them to comment but it's something like not being allowed in on the first lap. Why some didn't pit at all though I have no idea.

Third time ive been to the Montreal grand prix, and this one had to be the most exciting.

Alonso going off on the first corner, and then it wasnt long until Webber decided to spin right in front of me. (nothing unsual there)

Kubica's crash was amazing, so glad he got out of it.

Will try and post some photos in the next couple of days.

You better, I'm so jealous. What a great race to actually attend.

Very. Imagine the insane G forces his body experienced when going from 180mph to zero in the blink of an eye.
