Ish, unless there is some amazing feature or you can get an unusual angle a landscape shot is always hard to make interesting. Some can be saved by a dramatic sky but if it's all blue or all cloudy it can prove hard.
The sky def helped in this one. Same with this one with added shadow interest. Or try something a little different.
In summary, good landscape shots are dead hard and I don't really know much about taking a good one.

Thanks for the group invite Marty.
I have finally sorted out all my photos after spending yesterday afternoon and this morning to cut them down from 700(!) to 20 photos to put up on flickr.
I'm quite happy with them but because the sunset looks very similar in the vast majority of the photos (orange / warm skies) it was easier to pick them out.
Is it ideal to leave the sunset photos as they are (shadowy / dark foreground) or brighten up the foreground (and sky) at the same time?
