I also need a bag... those CompuRover bags look like they'd be useful for me as I nearly always have my laptop with me.

Regarding bags - the lowpro is excellent I find, it has loads of useful little pockets, plus a waterproof cover hidden away when you get caught out. A friend of mine has the slingshot bag, which is quite tempting - you 'sling' it over your shoulder, and twist it around to your belly whenever you need something, and the zip opens up so you can easily get anything out (without the contents spilling everywhere!). It can hold quite a bit too.Last edited by PeteJ; 29-06-2006, 07:26.

If so it's two shots exactly the same but with me in a different place. Cut out a selection and stick them together in PS. Selecting a corner helps as it will automatically lock to the corners so you don't have to do fiddly pixel adjustments. The difficult bit was deciding where to cut as the shadows caused by me being in a different place and only using ambient light caused a few problems when sticking them together.
This was just a test to see how it works by the way, not claiming it's a 'decent' shot.
Re bags: I have a 'really' old tatty thing so no-one decides to mug me. Just fits cam with kit lens on and the zoom lens piled on top. I'm not super precious of my gear so I don't mind them touching each other of getting the odd mark.
GT - You really need all those bags? Fancy off-loading one cheap?

In this day and age it was always going to be PS! My cam can't do double exposure, don't know about others. A very long exposure in the dark would work if I sat very still for 1 min in 1 place and then quickly moved to the other for 1 min. Wouldn't come out anything like the same though as subject would become a bit translucent.
I've taken some insect macros too!!
There are a couple of others on my page.
Also got one of my sleepy cat that I like.

so i thought it about time i posted a few piccies up in here, up in here... taken with a temperamental pentax s6 (perfect conditions only please! which makes the jellyfish shot all the more amazing). all quarter the size of the originals.
nespad has been filtered in some form or another and had the windowsill removed so i could use it as the background for my 360 dashboard...

Went with photoguard.co.uk in the end. All insured for ?138, probably could have explored the home policy further. But at least its proper insurance.
Managed to reduce the house policy by around ?58 by taking all the crap off it as well (such as Credit cards and cash loss, CC is covered by Barclaycard anyway)

(I was almost holding the lens against it - focussing was an issue - in the end I just went for the closest focus possible and then moved the camera forwards and backwards until it looked in focus on the screen on the back... highly scientific)
