Tommy more great shots! The shot of the sunglasses is my fave.
Al, the second night shot is great, and the shot of the chap skateboarding is great too. Very nice action shot.
Ish, I think I have said it before but you have a wonderful eye for taking photographs of buildings. I really like the last two, but especially the backalley shot.
Does anyone have any experience with flights and thier camera? I want to take my camera in my hand luggage with me next week when I travel. Anyone had any problems with airport security or is it all stright forward? Not at all interested in putting the camera in the hold.
I found this little chap yesterday. The colour is almost unreal on this this weevil:

That sounds way over the top - some people really need to sort themselves out.
I'm heading to Brighton on 18th July for the w/e - maybe I should cancel it with all the crazies there
Like that second pic anyway Alastair.

Great stuff everybody, need to get out and about today. Tried to buy a tripod and polarizing filter yetserday but the staff in Jessops couldn't be arsed to serve me. I can be a right impatient fooker sometimes, wish I'd waited around longer now. Did get a couple of light pens from a 99p Shop thoLast edited by spagmasterswift; 08-06-2008, 08:35.

Well it's a beautiful day outside but i'm unfortunately indoors studying anatomy for my exams in ten days (taking a break to check the thread). So many amazing shots guys.
Alastair the second night shot is amazing great colours and angle. Being a ex-skateboarder the air shot is unreal, such a great shot with perfect timing. I would have loved a shot of myself like that when i was skating.
Ish the textures on that last beach shot are wonderful, I can almost feel the coldness of the water and roughness of the pebbles, great shot. I also love the one looking up at the buildings with the crossing platforms, amazing angles that keep drawing your eye into the picture.
Winky your macro shots blow me away you truly are macro master.
MartyG the old man in the car rocks! In fact i've been wanting to get a photo like that with the subject in perfect focus and the background blurred. Any tips on how this is achieved? Do I need to use the panning option?
Happy shooting

Some beautiful pics here people.
I love the wildflowers, the thistle and the plane Spags. The colours are gorgeous.
Ish, I like the reflection on that bridge, but I'd maybe bring down the highlights a bit and perhaps play with the contrast. Your urban architectural shots are great, especially the walkways and that third one you posted above.
Marty, that flower's really dreamy, but I think it would've improved with a slightly different background. Maybe something plain black?
Alastair, that second skateboarding shot is amazing. Well captured. I'd be tempted to crop out the ramp, so that it looks like he's flying. Would be fun
Tommy, that second disco ball shot is great fun, and the light streaks are quite well done.
