And only last month the Geordie dirt jumper Steven Murray bailed on a double back flip and basically crippled himself. I don't think ESPN et al. will be happy until someone kills themselves live on telly.
Plus the shoes- WTF?

i can't have people missing out on such an amazing feat of sheer manliness on my watch. jake brown is officially the toughest dude in the world.
well maybe apart from josh bender:
thing is, bender does this stuff for fun... which makes him tough as balls but also stupid as ****. still though, for repeatedly flinging himself off a 55ft drop and crashing every single time? major respect, the guy is fearless

may as well add another bike related one, bmx flatland... it's basically dancing on a bike, but about 10million times more graveful/skilllful and downright cool... check this guy out, i have no clue at all how he manages to do all this, it just defies the laws of physics. of particular note is the little 'run' at 3:18 onwards, he's stood on the pegs of the front wheel, holding the back of the bike in the air and he flips the front wheel between his legs, and then again a few seconds later. this is godlike skill. godlike. my head almost can't take it.
also the tune; hilltop hoods - the nosebleed section, is particularly of note.
*edit: re-watching that for the 100th time i've just noticed, at about 2:50 he's got the bike upside down, holding onto the front pegs with his hands and is actually pedalling it upside down. that's it, i've had enough, my brain can't take any more of this, i'm going to bed.
