JD = Justkilled DaPope.
They really need to stop calling government officials by their initials - DJT, JD, MTG, it makes them sound cooler than they are, like how calling Boris Johnson makes it sound like he's your chum.
Vance is in India at the moment, hoping to strengthen trade with them, despite Trump previously labelling India a "tariff king" and a "big abuser" on trade.

Not only that but the bikes are not especially useful. They need to be docked at hubs and they only ever put hubs bang in central, then never built any more - so the vast, vast majority of London doesn't have access to them in a useful way. Most of them are not electric assisted either so you end up all sweaty at your destination.
Dockless e-bikes operated by Lime and Forest are dramatically more useful since they're scattered plentifully across the inner, not just central, city and even further out to zone 3 and beyond in some cases. Plus you can find 'em on the street right outside your house and park them outside your front door.
It's a separate issue but it kind of annoys me that TfL don't replace the existing Santander bikes with a similar dockless electric model. I spend a good amount of money on Lime bikes every month and that money is being funnelled straight to venture capitalists in San Francisco. I would much rather it go to TfL. However since they don't offer an actually usable bike scheme it can't.
On the further topic of Johnson's London reign, the so-called "Boris buses" were a flub, too. There are aspects of them I actually like - they look nice externally, reviving the Routemaster design was a nice idea, and I particularly appreciate the muted lighting used on the upper deck at night.
But like the bikes, they are much less usable than competing products. The newest London buses are made by BYD and adopt a less sexy and more typical bus design, but are dramatically more spacious on both the upper and lower deck and incorporate features like USB charging ports, 'stop' buttons on every seat, and even little hooks to hang your shopping bags on - plus much more advanced full colour LCD screens showing where in the bus route you are.
So yeah Johnson's London legacy is a load of mostly useless vanity projects that were quickly eclipsed. At least we never got that fupping garden bridge.

‘Massive’ Russian attack on Kyiv kills nine and wounds 70 as Trump criticises Zelenskyy over peace talks – Europe live
Immediately following Trumps latest attack on Zelensky after the US closes in on settling a peace deal with Russia that relies once again on Ukraine folding and giving in to nearly all of Putins' demands. The immediate push back setting up the clear effort from the US to abandon Ukraine whilst trying to shoulder it with all the blame.
Trump threatens to re-introduce the paused tariffs within the next 2-3 weeks.
