Idaho school district demands teacher pull down ‘Everyone is welcome here’ posters

"An Idaho school system ordered one of its teachers to remove a pair of “Everyone is welcome” posters hanging in her classroom over concerns they would “inadvertently” flame division, according to reports.

But Lewis and Clark Middle School teacher Sarah Inama, 35, is refusing back down after she received the directive from the West Ada School District on Feb. 3, leading to month-long turmoil within the district that was capped off by school officials using a sports analogy to justify their demands.

“I took them down, but I was very sad about it,” Inama told the Idaho Statesman this week. “And the following few days, I just couldn’t stop thinking about it. I came back in on a Saturday with my husband and my baby, and I put it back up.”

We seem to be far enough into this mess now to have confirmed that Musk, Trump and Project 2025 think that they know what they're doing and aiming to accomplish but in actual fact have absolutely zero ****ing clue.

Project 2025 heads clearly think they're setting up a Republican Utopia for generations ahead - but are instead simply destroying things in a very tight window of time whilst leaving a President in place that not only cannot be replaced by the party once he's gone but also is so irratic in his decision making etc that he will still have over 2 years in power to ruin their lives too

Trump clearly thinks he can do anything at all now without ever facing a single consequence, doing most of what he does not because he believes at all in Project 2025's cause but simply because he's an over tango'd man baby who is having a tantrum and so knocking all the playground toys over because he's still ****y that 2020 didn't go his way. All the while overlooking that his actions might well never face a court or voter judgment but he's already dodged the judgment of two bullets in the past twelve months and the years ahead increasingly don't bode well, especially when his base are the ones who will most feel the pain from his actions.

Musk clearly thinks that his hype is earnt and that he can basically perform a raid under Trumps cover, getting all the information he wants and steal all the contracts he can to make a mint. However, he's grossly overestimated his own appeal which is why he's lost over $100bn in such a tiny amount of time - Because people now see him for the real him - a man who is woefully incompetent and just as fragile ego'd as Trump because not enough people, bar Daddy, has told him no in life. He'll never make as much as he loses and if the day comes that Republicans are kicked out of office there's a real risk that a day of reckoning might come (if not a bullet from disgruntled people suffering at his hands) because any other Government is going to have to immediately revoke his contracts and freeze him out of absolutely everything making him poison to the few businesses he has that aren't already being beaten by his connection to them. He can't even crime smartly.

Yep, one of their four goals is to secure individual rights but all that's happening is people losing them right, left and centre. Same with 'restore family life as the centre of American values'

They're literally ripping them apart by destroying their jobs, finances, rights etc. It's a common thread through far-right wing thinking - a complete absence of acknowledging the hard reality that there is no going back from globalisation. Whether its the Russia, America, China etc it all reeks of childish screaming into the dark, just angrily fighting off the inevitable.
