    Finished a new one guys...

The boy sat in the dark isolation with an aching heart…

He was overwhelmed by the psychological agony that was pushing him towards despair, towards desolation. He tried to stay awake to avoid tomorrow, desperately fighting sleep, but like the inevitable wash of the natural tide or the brilliant glow of the rising sun, slowly his struggle to stay awake ceased as his eyes were overcome by tiredness…

    - Drawn on white smooth bristol board. 2H, 3B pencil, black biro pen, water colours and digital paint.

This took bloody ages but i'm very happy with the result. You peeps done anything new? :-)

That's lovely Adam. Love the sheets.

By coincidence, I am also picking up my art pencils again after about, ooooh, 20 years

Going to start with portraits of the kids from photos methinks.

Ad, can you do people? If so, any chance you could do Seany (I know you know him) but in a Ted Dibiase Million Dollar Man outfit?

Just a thought for if you were bored. Oh and he'd love you forever.

Your artwork is exceptional by the way, when I was in a band I'd have killed to know someone like you. Been working on some solo stuff (music wise) for years now, and were I to ever release it (which I won't) I'd probably be PMing you asking to use your artwork!

            Very nice.

You work has an emotional depth to it, and the detail makes it almost 3 dimensional. I like that.

Thank you Ady mate, appreciate your kind words...

I've recently just finished a new one (the dude in the back with inspired by Eternal Darkness,) and am now working on another...

@ Jebus, ha, yeah that isn't a bad plan man. May have to put something together for the big man...

@ Mr. Ono, how are you progressing buddy? Do you have anything to share :-)

                  Erm, nope

I just bought the sketch pads and pencils and a week later I got my job offer. Been back to the grind. Good news is, the new job is not the monstrous hours of the old one so will have more time to do things - including art.

I'm going to be sketching our family Christmas card this year.

Mr Stone - do me a favour and draw something happy.

Apart from that excellent stuff. Nice original style.

I know, they can be a little depression can't they... I call them "emotive and thought-provoking" - But i do do happy too! Have you seen my Plar characters? Here's a couple for ya, though admittedly these are just brief sketches... but still, these are my cute little dudes.

One of a dog, Maya, too :-)

Thanks for your kind words mate.

Sigh. Well, just for the sake of doing so... here's a glimpse of a new picture i'm currently working on:

                            ...

Edit! I've taken the picture down because after a few more hours spent on it it now looks completely different! Will update soon :-p

Damn they are awesome, you have a very similar drawing style when it comes to animals to a friend of mine, weird, although perhaps not to weird if its the "correct" way to go about drawing them

Been kind of busy with the illustration so far this year. Here's a couple that fellow gamers might enjoy!

This is for a Darkstalkers Tribute art book that Udon are doing. I don't know if I've made it in yet. But I'm hoping so as I really put my heart in to this one!

My first major attempt at pixel art. It's a slow way of working but kind of fun too.

Some student illustrations I did. Edited in to a Street Fighter-like montage. Yep, that's the strongest game reference I could manage.

Hope y'all dig. Any pointers greatly appreciated.
                              freakin sweet

crocky-chocky is amazing isn't he? Such a unique style bursting with colour, character and charm. Bloody awesome...

Largo, thank you for the kind words mate, do you ever to pen to paper? Have anything to share?

Oh, also... do you have any examples of your friend's artwork? Would love to see some. As for proper ways of drawing animals: I honestly haven't a clue. I've never been taught how to draw sadly (not even got a GCSE in art! Ha) so I'm completely and utterly self taught, so any tips or guidance from your friend would be very much appreciated indeedy! Have a good day mate :-)
