Cheers all, yeah it was a shock, I took a hot bath that morning hoping it would help and couldn't lift myself back out lol. I was going up and down the stairs like an old man, one step at a time in a lot of pain. The meds really made a difference though. There is no cure unfortunately although better eating habits, exercise and reduced stress can help.

Hoping she gets the all-clear QC and I'm glad she pushed for it, a missed cancer diagnosis is one of my great fears.

Fingers crossed the shortness of breath is temporary fuse. Six years worth of unnecessary background radiation in one go, bloody hell!

Ick, think I have the flu. Woke up shivering this morning at about half 5. Managed to get some rest after taking flu remedy and getting a hot water bottle. Not sure I actually slept, mind. Sore throat, headaches, yay.

Need to wait for delivery of a test kit but after using my last (expired) one it came up strongly positive for covid. Felt a little better this morning, was properly snoozing before getting up. Wanted to test as I know with covid sometimes people relapse.

That sucks man, hopefully they've caught it early for you and get it sorted asap.Getting that result would be gutting but having the check in the first place will have been the first step in getting the best outcome, fingers crossed for you that it's been caught early so they can deal with it fast and take that weight off your mind.

Surgery on the 1st. All previous exams look good and the doctor says I caught it before it got worse. That's a boulder off my chest.
