Is it worth picking up an iPhone 6 at this point or should I just wait for the obligatory September announcement from Cupertino? I've been out of the iPhone upgrade game for a long, long time! [emoji14]
I'm in the same boat, been using a Nexus 5 since my 4s kicked the bucket.

Was all set for a OnePlus Two until I saw the size of it, so decided back to Apple it is.. 64gb iPhone 6 are going for around ?400 ATM, but with the upcoming September 6s its probably best to hang fire and decide once the new one is out..

There is a deal on HUKD for a Nexus 6 ?258, which I looked at, but again its huge, I'm not a fan of the Phablets!

Ah, no worries, I thought you meant a shop. 64Gb is my absolute minimum, and I'm full up at that to be honest, should go 128. Was going to buy one on holiday, but the saving turned out to be minimal.

Im currently using a Nexus, my entire iTunes library on my Mac at home is available via Google Music, I just stream it saves clogging the memory up, surely there's an apple variant of this?

I'll need to look into it for when I'm jump ship back to apple.

just had to renew my contract and the missus wanted my Xperia Z1 to replace her Galaxy S3 which is struggling with charger connection and energy loss. Choice came pretty much down to either an Xperia Z3 or a Galaxy S6 Edge without losing a feature etc. The Z3 appealed as Sony seems to have made very little head way with iterations so whilst it's pretty much the same phone as I had I knew I'd be on to a winner but the S6 Edge slightly, marginally edged it out in terms of the offers open to me so I went for that in the end.

A couple of days in and there isn't really much between them I feel. The Edge aspect is pretty much here nor there as there isn't enough space to the curved screen edges to do anything with and the android version is pretty close to how Sony has theirs stock loaded. The photo quality seems pretty much the same to my novice eyes despite the drop from a 20.7mp camera to 16mp but the screen really pops as it's a AMOLED. All very smooth for touch control etc. No issues at all with it so far. Got a QI wireless charger for it to, instead of white or black I got the Captain America shield version which works out the box just by putting the phone on it. Hoping it holds up over the contract length as phone tech really seems to have crawled to a halt to the point where I think when this contract expires I'll stop upgrading.

I sold my Z Ultra earlier in the week and picked up a Z3 Compact, wanted to stick with Sony, but needed a practical small phone again. The Compact is virtually the same specs as the Z3 and has the same camera etc but smaller screen and overall size (it has just a 4.6" screen). Really happy with it.

Once my carried over sim from my ?30 a month EE contract runs out in three months I'll be going sim only for the future for sure.

I would've thought that  Music would be the equivalent for streaming music like Google Play Music does, although I haven't dabbled with it to properly find out.

Doesn't streaming eat into your data allowance? Or do you have unlimited data?

You'd have to leave your system at home on too...

Apple Music lets you download any music ever to your phone (or stream it if you prefer) for ?15om and iTunes Match (?25 per year) allows you to sync your music with "The cloud" and stream it /download the songs via data or WiFI.

Any music you've bought from itunes can be streamed or downloaded without any subscription.

I use Google Play..works great for me. Though uploading all my stuff was a pain on a 1meg upload line but everything it recognised/was properly labeled it added without having to upload.

The phone caches about a gigs worth too so there is still a decent amount saved on your phone in case your connection drops. My 16 gig nexus 5 has never even been half full despite me having 100s of gigs of music.

The very thought of buying an iphone with 128gig storage makes my wallet and my brain explode!!

Yeah I am on Three PAYG, I top up ?15 pm and get unlimited text, data and 250 mins. Haven't had a contract phone for since my iphone 4s.

Just had a quick read up and it appears that only Google Play lets you store your own music without paying a subscription fee.

Yeah, 3's All-In-One 15 PAYG tariff was scandalously good value. I used that for my Nexus 5 when my iPhone 4 was working so that I had a second phone with all the data I could handle.

Just a shame that the price of it appears to have gone up to ?20 a month now.
