Think I'm right in saying that not all apps can be moved to the SD card on Android still? plus of course software updates etc.
Really has been a bottleneck with some Android phones over the years so is a good move.

RAM has nothing to do with where apps live. They live on the internal memory. Note 3 is insane. I'd still recommend a Note 2 as an incredible phone right now so a Note 3 is just mental! it will be the best phone you've ever had. A few on here have the note, or Note 2 and all rate them highly I believe.

        I don't think that's how RAM works.

I wonder how much longer phones will keep getting bigger for.

Sony have that xperia ultra. Think that's the biggest so far.

Ram is just for open applications to use along with the OS. Id be interested to find out exactly what type of ram it is and how quick, my imac only has 4gig of ram and that runs illistrator, indesign, lightroom along with other native mac programs, with nary a hickup. Give it another 4 years and we could well end up with phones that can double up as workstations due to the power they have.

With 8core processors that run at silly speeds and more powerful gpu's every month it seems its only a a matter of time.

Someone left a Nexus 5 in a bar.

Earlier this month images from FCC filings showed what appeared to be Google’s LG-made Nexus 5 following the device first...

Looks really nice. They can't launch soon enough for me. I'm still using a barely-functioning iPhone 4 from release day. Wouldn't want to use a skinned Android (I hate bloatware, I'm a Mac user) and I like the pared back design.

So I am a bit behind the times but iOS7 is pretty horrilbe. Does it have any redeeming features?

Calculator accessible on the lock screen? Generally so far I like it. But it does nasty things to my wallpapers, zooming all of them in and I can't seem to stop it doing it.

It is much smoother. The thing for me is does it sort out the battery life of the 5? We shall see today.

Control center is good. I like the way also you can have multiple pages within folders.

Just finished the update on my iPhone 4. First thing I tested was whether I could put newsstand into a folder... I can! That's a positive

Speaking of wallpaper, mine hasn't zoomed in, but it is mainly white / grey and the text for the folders and app icons is white at the moment, which makes things a tad difficult to read.

No way am I putting iOS 7 on my 3-year old iPhone 4 - the bloody thing struggles with iOS 5+ at this point! Will probably purchase an iPhone 5s within the next month or two.

I've held off putting iOS 7 onto my iPad Mini as well - reports I've come across speak of it being buggy on iPads at this moment in time.

More impressed with my Nexus 4 than I should be. Not enthused with the idea of a 5-inch screened Nexus 5 but might be persuaded otherwise if it comes with more than a max of 16GB internal storage and LTE.
