Royal Mail Strike - Quick Question?

I couldn't see a general thread about royal mail and looking for some advice on what to do.

bascially i've had a parcel from shopto go missing in the post been 9 days now but I know I can claim for that but i've got a recorded 1st class from a member on here that I think has gone missing now only been 3 days for that but it should have turned up by now.

I wanted to call my local sorting office but why cant you do that instead of that awful 08457 number which doesn't seem you can get through to anyone on it.

I just want to call to see if they are holding anything for me but why do royal mail have to make it where you cant even do a simple thing like that

Goto your local sorting office even if it's a ball ache and they will give you their direct line if there isn't anything for you. That 0845 no is painful!! I have my local office stored in my phone now.
