Snow?!?

Roads all snowed up in less than an hour down in NW London. Hope Im not snowed in tomorrow morning

Yep bad here, just been out, minus five, couple of inches of snow on the gound, nicely icey underneath. Sod all grit on the roads also. Still coming down and it's pretty windy, making it nice and difficult to see.

Ummm, just looking on the BBC website, does sound like we're in for a heavy fall over night. So pleased I stopped riding motorbikes years ago.

As much as I hate snow, I'd like a heavy snowfall just for a day or two off work, but no such luck...

heh, my daughter is in the back garden building a snowman, must be almost 4" of snow settled now.

just been out for a meal with a few friends, couldnt have been more than an hour and half in there came out and everywhere was covered, took me over an hour to get home (4 miles) ended up doing 5mph all the way home it was that bad, never driven a rear wheel drive car in the snow as well which was fun, went up a straight hill side ways almost taking 3 cars out :S i hate snow when you have to drive in it

South east London the snowfall is pretty thick. It's crazy, I just went to the shop and snow was driving right into my face, adding to the substantial amount already settled. Nothing on the roads, except one van driving VERY SLOWLY and a couple of pizza delivery guys dicking about on their mopeds.

Not enough to make snowmans here (in chichester), but it's certainly starting to settle. There seems to be a steady flow coming down (just had a little peek out of the window) so - if it continues - it should be fairly thick tomorrow! Yay.
