Yes, I remember playing a bit of Space Invaders in the pub (late 70s?), but I didn't get a console, or even play on one, until about three years ago when my family got a Playstation for two reasons - my son was four so we were stuck in the house alot, and I wanted to hear the music on the Wu-Tang game. Croc was my first nibble and a 2 for ?30 of Final Fantasy VII and Metal Gear Solid got me hooked.

Since then there are just two games that the three of us play - Animal Crossing and SSX (+Tricky so three at a stretch) - and my wife was first to pay off the big mortgage and is best at tricks ... Sigh
