What drugs exactly? Also, he's a drinker... well isn't everyone thesedays? to what extent was his alcohol abuse? the odd glass of wine over dinner? the pre-concert spliff? ...or drinking 2 ltrs of meths whilst shooting up 1gm of smack a day? WHERE'S YR INFOZ!??!1

Not saying he deserved it.... I'd just like some more backing on that totally unjustified statement, why include "...the drinker and drug user..."?

Is it only my local Council that seem obsessed with putting in speed humps ? they have added so many in last twelve months they must be on commission or something, seen three more added in one small strect of road already this year - there are some so close to the road running across the end of ours you can't even drive over them straightly as your still turning the corner.

Got fired on Friday, working my months' notice now, its a hollow experience turning up to somewhere you once loved to work, and now being empty inside and stuff.

Uh no, I was pretty sure I was fired, its a months notice. I was made redundant from my last post though.

luck-tastic, actually luck had no say this time, I was just crap at 15% of my job, and stellar at 85% of it. ... sigh

Holliss, I'd be happy if Brighton Council spent any money on roads at all, they are terrible here and getting worse all the time. Not noticed and new humps though recently.

Thats wierd your place keeping you on, usually they would put you on garden leave for the month. You should try and be a total wanker and see if they do that. Its not like the can sack you twice!

Also if your doing interviews and things make sure they give you the time during the day for it as thats a legal requirement on most contracts.

Someone i work with was in the chemist a week back and he let the girl behind him pass, as he was not in the queue, the girl went to teh cashier and asked for a home pregnancy test. The girl was infact Abby Clancy

My grandad (88 this July) was appoached by some total randomer of about the same age in the town market last week...

Stranger: *gawking at my grandad*

How utterly out of the blue! After how many years?? If he hadn't noticed my grandad they'd have just passed by one another. He was down from Dundee visiting some friends in the area, and just by chance my grandad's been living in Burnley for the past 30 years or so. He also referred to my grandad as 'Dougie', his old army nick-name.

From a conversation I was having with someone earlier; I was saying I think freckly women are cute/sexy, said friend disagreed. It also turns out a lot of people also disagree.

The odd freckle is cute, too many and you've got rash. For some reason I always think that women with loads of freckles are usally hairy as well. Not a fan of hairy women.
