I can't remember the last time I ordered from their site but I hadn't noticed it before. I have a feeling the last time I ordered from them was when the discount still applied officially, but I swear I bought some DVDs from them last year...

I have to get this out of my system:

One of my neighbours upped and left her husband and four kids a few months back, I felt really sorry for the kids really, but the husband is a prick and she was a nasty piece of work. She had sent her nephews round to try and intimidate me once after I just gave her a funny look, didn't mean nothing by it. It was all in her head. That's the back story.

Any way, I found out today that she gave birth to a baby that was not her husband's and legged it. The most bizarre thing is that the kid was a whole different skin tone. Genetically I've heard of this kind of thing happening, but it freaked me out. She must have not known who the father was or she (if she had a brain) would have legged it earlier.

I'm still trying to process this information, it's too much- brain overload right now. Like I said earlier, I just feel sorry for her other kids, they need a mother, although to be fair she was a pretty lousy mother to them. I won't go into that now.

I keep picturing the end of Naked Gun 3 for some reason.

edit-also, a lot of people living near me knew all this but didn't tell me. I keep thinking every time I looked at the husband he must've been paranoid, thinking 'He knows!', but I didn't have a clue...

I've just had the BEST THURSDAY EVARRR

First I find the Sonic Generations thread and the videos posted on it.

Then my boss left in the afternoon for his holiday so I'm the entire I.T. department for the next few weeks(actually, that could be quite bad).

Then I went to get my hair cut at T&G and had the best head massage evarrr. It was bordering on erotic and I actually almost fell asleep. I usually chat during them but all I could manage was my minicab conversation-starter of 'busy day?' followed by something about working on bank holidays before it was sleepy time. I was caught in this state of sleepy bliss even after I left the place and headed home. She could've had my wallet and phone and I probably wouldn't have cared. Too sleepy to read LOTR so I listened to Jaguar Skills which perked me up and also made me happier than a pig in 60Hz.

Came home to find MK9 and Tron/Tron Legacy BR waiting for me.

Watched another episode of Breaking Bad(S01E05 for those who care) and it had a scene that was so powerful I almost cried. Not only has Bryan Cranston managed to break that curse that befalls many actors who play one character for so long, he's picked an absolute corker to break it. Every now and then you get a sliver of Hal(especially when he shouts) but that's it.

Quick bash on the piano before hitting the sack for a well-deserved lie-in and, while I'm in such a good mood, I just wanna say I LOVE YOU GUYSSS

Bring on the long weekend. I expect every computer across all the hotels I support will break between now and Monday.

I've been wondering about ehow, too. Every time I google something related to a Windows problem there's often an ehow on it and it's always completely useless. I have a feeling the 'things you'll need' bit for your one is just the writer having a laugh, but the rest of the instructions fit in with the general ehow agenda.

Findings of my google expedition: It seems a Live Thread is a browser extension or forum hack that allows a thread to work a bit like a chat room - in the sense you wouldn't need to refresh the page to see new posts.

I have finally watched something with Sean Bean in! An advertisement for Game of Thrones came on TV mentioning he was in it, and I was reminded of someone mentioning it in the welcome thread when I joined. In checking the show out to see what the fuss about him was I found a really enjoyable series to follow. Thanks whoever mentioned it, haha!
