I was going to buy a back issue of a magazine yesterday, then changed my mind half way through. Today comes this email

Working in Publishing I can confirm that what Spatial posted is worryingly near the truth, one of my sales colleagues even used the line "go on help a London Child" earlier in the week (he lives in Bow and is about 26).

Anyone have any ideas as to why my brother was asking my wife and I and my mum and dad how tall we are? I asked him why he needed to know but he said he wasn't at liberty to divulge that information yet! We've had a few thoughts: maybe he's making smocks and frocks for us all and doesn't want them trailing along the ground; or my mum suggested he was treating us all to coffins! Personally, I have no idea what he is up to...

oooh to be young again. 26 year old bloke on the team here, just announced he's not eaten all day, all he's had

4 cups of tea
2 pints of lager (liquid lunch in the pub)
about a dozen fags.

Me, eaten about two thousand calories already and am starving and counting the minutes to dinner.

probably the fags, why would anyone not eat in a day though, then have two beers at lunch, my head would be spinning and I'd be unable to work to my fullest capacity.

He only ever eats at lunchtime (then dinner in the evening of course), never snacks or anything. Today he had to go to the pub 30 minutes late so skipped lunch and went straight for the Stella.
